I indulgently consent you to add a 17th century shell and a realistic turtle skin if it amuses elitist purists, but YES! THERE WERE TURTLES IN THE XVIIe CENTURY !!! SO COME AND PROVE ME WRONG !!!
I demand a secretly homosexual Christian monk himbo who takes out his frustration at society by dueling under the cover of night.
Let's put a cassock on Gédéon : and voila !
The thing is, there's not really a reason that we can't have a chinese or japanese based fighter because the Samurai were around for a long time, and arguably at their peak around the 15th century.
SOMEONE in the 17th century probably had a Katana at some point. It would be fun to see that combat style against traditional HEMA techniques, to be quite honest. As long as the devs did it with the same meticulous nature they did with the 17th century styles they have in the game, I'd be okay with it.
Samurai were at their peak and had all their katanas exactly around the 17th sentury (Sekigahara 1600, the first battle of Miyamoto Musashi), but there were absolutely none in Rzechpospolita :(
