I wanted to know if it really works because i did not manage yet. All the best.
Do we really need to have the same controls? i mean if i have a controller, he must have one for playing with me ?
Hopefully the devs make a priority of integrating the multiplayer because it is really an adventure to get it working.
Basically when he joined at first i was in the main menu , then i went to "vs player", i could not change my character and he could not choose anything.
So i went out back to the main menu and back again in the "vs player" about 2 or 3 times then after some time , maybe 20-30 seconds, he suddenly managed to select his character and me too and it worked but honestly i do not know why it finally worked.
1. allowed guest to chose a side first (recomended left) by enter
2. confirm your own side
3. if default TYGH won't work, tell him to try press K to chose his character
4. Check if OKL works for a guest. Last game I couldn't figure out the long guard, so I played a "handicaped" game with most of my characters.
EDIT: looks like I and backspace are also controls that works. At least this is what manual says.
