Any Chance for a arming sword and buckler user?

would be super cool to get a buckler fencer, but I would be worried about balancing if the buckler is being used as it is intended. bucklers work REALLY well for defending while attacking. He wouldn't swing like funny boy G here, instead he would swing protecting his hand at the same time.

I was thinking the same thing, if i understand the game's setting correctly it can be argued that the arming sword is obsolete but that doesn't mean the art didn't go anywhere; not unfathomable to think someone might carry one and it does fit with the game's idea of having colorful characters. Wouldn't mind seeing a heavier longer one handed arming sword too.

While it's true that the classic medieval arming sword with a simple crossguard was obsolete at this point in time, sword and buckler was still in used, at least by fencers, and there were plenty of examples of side swords who were essentially just arming swords with complex hilts on them.
