I finished all dark soulses on keyboard without mouse, and I wouldn't say it's hard. It definetely gives more control over gamepad. Same here, diagonal movement is much easier on keyboard for me, and since you don't need mouse for anything, keyboard is pretty much same as gamepad. The only advantage of gamepad is that you can sit differently, but that's just subjective, holding gamepad is harder than resting oth hands on table and keyboard, so eh.

cause DS1 had awful mouse controls so just binding camera to num2 4 6 8 and target/camera reset to num5 was much better than using mouse. You don't need free camera control there anyways.

DS2 has a bug with mouse where it adds 300 ms delay to clicking, and even if you disable it in settings, bug is that after game restart this setting is off again, you need to reenable it, I didn't know about that so I just used my DS1 experience playing on keyboard only since mouse is bugged.

When DS3 came out I was already so used to num camera controls, num0 for light attack and num7 for heavy attack that it became just easier for me and more comfortable to play like that than using mouse or gamepad when I got one lol.

yeah I hadn't even know about mouse bug in DS2 before I completed half of the game

Is there any hint how to play keyboard by parsec? Most times it can't work when I try to play on the left side, and it just DOESN'T WORK when I play right side. Problems almoust always occurs when my oponent have KB too and it works much better when he have gamepad. EDIT: FINALY find out that "ARCADE" is bugged in parsec.
