Trilogy or just this one?
I'm new to the series. Would it make sense to buy all three and play them in order, or just buy this one?

I guess the question is, how has this series aged over time. Are the first two games still worth getting?

Hi,

just take a look at the descriptions in Store pages...

Summing up: CSD1 offer the story of Sherrisoda Tower and the Iron Cook challenges (a Re Mustard edition will arrive in 2024).

CSD2 offer the ability to unlock several thematic restaurants and create your sandbox restaurant.

All CSD games offer a similar but definitely unique gaming experience. They are not a copy / paste.

Maybe just take a look at some videos on YouTube too.

As Axios said above, something we've heard from a lot of our fans is that they love being able to play each game as its own unique experience, making it easy to play in any order. That said, the first game has the most gradual difficulty curve while CSD2&3 start out more challenging right away (so CSD1 might seem too easy at first to CSD2/3 players), and I've seen many people say that they really miss the "Autoserve" function from CSD3 when they go back to play CSD1 or CSD2.

They're all worth getting, though I think the third one is the most fun. The music is fantastic in that game and it has the funniest story.

The autoserve its certainly a god send.

I'm just recently starting to play CSD2 and i didn't expect this to be such a "chill" experience to how frenetic CSD3 can be with so many orders in so little time 😵. Honestly i think that autoserving in 2 would make it much too easier considering side dishes can add so much wait time for each order, as long as you go carefully about i see no problem with it... Then again im just starting so time will tell lol.
