THE CASTLE WAS HERE
You guys probably know about this easter egg, but what does it mean? I have found these little black boxes countless of times and I am really wondering what the f*ck it means. Someone knows the mening of this?

"The castle" is the map maker.

The Castle (A.K.A Russel Meakim) is a level designer, and he put "The Castle was Here" in Doom 2's expansion No rest For the Living.

Yep that was me. I also put a reference in the game I am working now called Revulsion. Its in the first mission.
