Wait. Because this game has a level set in Japan, and has "some-what" correctly placed Japanese popular culture, makes this the worst Counter Strike ever?
MuscularMelvin Apr 25, 2015 @ 5:11pm
I don't think you get it, man.

Japanese Schoolgirls

and Anime

in Counter-Strike,

a game by the most American FPS developer ever,

and they're not a custom spray by some closeted-pedo weeaboo, either.

Either you are really trolling or you are just plain ignorant. Its about the setting and "authenticity". Don't expect a level set in Japan not to feature something from that geographical area.
Are you going to complain that the Italian level has Italian themes? Or that the level on the boat was set at sea?

It is about "authenticity" and believability.
I really think YOU do not get it.

Also Counter Strike is not developed by Valve. The Deleted Scenes development was put through three dev companies before it was finally "finished". From Gearbox, to Ritual Entertainment, then finally Turtle Rock Studios.

Sorry I insulted your waifu, m8

What do you even see in animes, anyway?[css.gamebanana.com] All I can see is this.[i00.i.aliimg.com]

P.S. the only female anime character who is at least 18 is Chun-Li, but most people don't count Street Fighter.

BTW, cs_italy is unbelievable trash. Chickens are native to India, FFS.[en.wikipedia.org]

P.P.S. Ritual made Sin baka senpai

What is your argument again? Oh thats right, straw man...
I was stating fact (game trying to strive for somewhat "authenticity"), and you were blathering about your personal feelings.
Logic ahead (trolls be aware): there are schools in Japan, and girls in Japan go to these schools (hopefully), these school have a dresscode (uniforms). Thus one can say with the utmost certainty that there are Japanese schoolgirls in Japan.

"Sorry I insulted your waifu, m8

Its called a fandom, its all about personal preference. I never stated I was an anime nor manga fan. I'm simply stating facts and actual arguments.

"P.S. the only female anime character who is at least 18 is Chun-Li, but most people don't count Street Fighter."

Not relevant to anything discussed in this thread.

"BTW, cs_italy is unbelievable trash. Chickens are native to India, FFS."

We're talking about the Deleted Scenes here mate, and again your personal preference is not an argument. Also, have you been to Italy? I have, and there are local chickens roaming around in the rural parts of Italy. Nothing to do with being native or not.

"P.P.S. Ritual made Sin"

Yes they did. Good boy, have a gold star. This is the first thing you have said that is not slathered in your personal feelings.
But then you did this.
"baka senpai"

To my knowledge "Baka" means idiot, and "Senpai" is a title or honorific given to a person that is above you in rank and/or in class. And within this thread, yes I am your master.

If you still feel like talking, please continue. You created a straw man and have been "arguing" with a mirror this whole time.

I'll end with this: If your personal feelings stand in your way of playing a game, you can simply not play the game or stop being an ignorant poof and grow the f*ck up.

1. Sailor fuku is the #1 sexual fetish with middle-aged Japanese salarymen and weebs.
2. Sailor fuku hasn't been worn by High Schoolers since the late 70's/early 80's, they wear blazers and sweatervests now. Even typical moe crap gets this right, only Middle Schoolers wear it now (making Anime even Chris Hansenier)
3. The character model has like, C-cups. Have you ever even watched a Jackie Chan movie?
4. Where are the typical Japanese schoolboys, then? Can't think of an example as iconic as Sailor Moon, but you know what I mean. What they wear in the Japanese version of River City Ransom or whatever.
5. Ritual made a game where the villain was a chick with massive boobs who distracted the PC with sexy long enough to escape. If you add up these last 5 facts I presented, the reason why they put in schoolgirls into a Counter-Strike game is clear.

HINT: it's the same reason 3D Realms put naked animus in their racist Duke Nukem sprite-swap.

My personal preference is that Deleted Scenes is Gaben's failed abortion, does that count as an argument?

Well gee, it's not like I said it in the OP or anything and you failed to put 2 and 2 together...

Gabe effin' Newell on a pogo stick, are you sure you're not the one fighting a strawman, here?

Dear God, I actually got to the 1st Japanese level last night and it was worse than I could've ever imagined. I cringed the entire time I was playing because the obviously-white voices were even more awful than Mikiko [Debbie] from Daikatana. The entire level looked like it was designed by someone whose knowledge of Tokyo begins and ends with Golan-Globus ninja movies and that one Dexter's Lab episode.

For Gaben's sake, they included the fish logo that was combined to make Mr. Sparkle from the Simpsons all over the place![simpsons.wikia.com]

Also, the schoolgirls were somehow worse than I expected. Aside from the 5 indisputable facts I mentioned in the last post, they also spoke with the most horribly high-pitched, stereotypical voices in the middle of a political assassinaton.
"Soooo many books in the selies, I don't know which-a one to choose! Tee-Hee!"
"The charactas are so cy-oooot! Hee-Hee!" (if she said kawaii, I would've uninstalled the game right then and there)
"You're rearry stating to make-a me nervous-a."
If baka senpai still wants to argue about the reason schoolgirls were put into CS, he can be my guest. I can see why Valve removed the Yakuza from CSGO, they probably didn't want to bring up bad memories of this.

BTW I actually did laugh at "Kick-a his ass-u!"

EDIT: Oh man, just beat the main campaign for the first time. They actually have a picture of the racist Scarface knock-off with the 2 underaged schoolgirls laying at his feet like the Army of Darkness poster. I can't even...well, time to subject myself to the extra levels, I guess. Anybody know the story behind those?

EDIT 2: Effin-A, it got worse. I found out from a secret compilation on Youtube that if you climb up the scaffolding at the end of "Run!", you will see a schoolgirl lying down on a couch, only for her clone to close the blinds and call you a pervert.

If all this wasn't enough to convince you that Ritual only put in schoolgirls and anime for shameful reasons, nuFF3, then there's no getting through to you.

You think I'm joking? Since I made this topic in April, Valve released Operation Bloodhound which actually boasted a full storyline as one of its selling points (lol). Coincidently, it also introduced a slew of weeaboo gun skins with animu names.

BTW even though this was a joke topic poking fun at weeb crap put in an official CS release, I still think CZDS is one of the worst FPS games I've ever played. It literally looks and feels like a Valusoft game:

EDIT: Also, domo arigato Portaller-san for reminding me of my first favorite topic I made on this lulzy service. Poe's law is indeed a powerful weapon. "ignorant poof" ayy lmao

Lol you're going to such lengths for...what exactly??? I mean, do you think you're making a difference XD?! No, you're just some pathetic, ignorant ♥♥♥♥ who thinks that his word actually MEANS something. Nobody gives a ♥♥♥♥ about you, nothing will change, you are wortless :).
Theater Thug Jul 30, 2015 @ 10:48am
Huh. I love Deleted Scenes. I wouldn't go as far as to call the manga and schoolgirls weeaboo fanservice, it's more just supposed to be some generic Japanese culture.

Funny you should say that. Since I made this topic months ago, I discovered that Ritual actually licensed a Sin anime movie for some reason:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sin:_The_Movie
No idea why. FPSes are as niche in Japan as Visual Novels are in America. It showed up on TVTropes' "So Bad It's Horrible" list if that tells you anything.

This was an obvious joke topic BTW
