Console commands kick me out

So, I run low on health and armor. I try to put in the commands: "give item_armor 1" and "give item_health 1". It kicks me out of the game and the console says: "Host_Error: PF_precache_model_I: 'models/healthkit.mdl' Precache can only be done in spawn functions". Can anyone help me with this.

You can't give items that not loaded in the game.
