Old models for cs 1.6

I've downloaded the old models for cs 1.6 i put them in the folder and it appears that the models wont change to the old ones. The cz models remains. Can someone tell me why?

Make sure you uncheck the box that says "Enable HD Models if Available" in the video tab.

If that box is checked cstrike will use all the files inside the cstrike_hd folder over the ones in the cstrike folder. The models in the cstrike_hd folder are basically the CZ models which allows you to choose which models you prefer to play with by selecting or deselecting that box.

You can also use those folders to run seperate mods so you can have the default game in one folder and a custom mod with hi-poly models in the other so you can easily select between the two.
