Hunter_ARG has Counter-Strike

Game is Dead

It doesn't start anymore, crash to launch. I get an error message and the executable icon flipped.

I tried reinstalling but nothing.

GG VALVE, you killed CSGO and now CS 1.6

Do a complete reinstall of both half-life and counter-strike and have cs run under beta mode.

put the beta version in the game properties

Change CS 1.6 to beta or Half-Life to pre 25th anniversary update

Correction, Valve upgraded CSGO to CS2. Whether it was for the better or for the worse, it's up to anyone's point of view. I find myself in the middle but I have to agree that there wasn't any sort of consideration when Valve released the update for Half-Life. They completely forgot CS shares the same installation path and core files as Half-Life.

They haven't forgot they just wanted the Half Life update out before the weekend as they wouldn't be at work for the anniversary. They have stated that they will continue to update Half Life and they are aware of mods not working and will update them. Expect all the new features in 25th HL to be in CS 1.6.
