HELP ERROR---> Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime library Assertion failed?

Hey guys,

Every time I try to run CS1.6 or CSCZ this stupid message pops up saying assertion failed.
Tried reinstalling and also verifying games integrity files. Nothing seems to be working
Suggestions?

Entra en propiedades del juego y le das en beta y seleccionas beta-beta y listo

Switch game to beta in options, today we all have a problem with CS

IF you can't Run Cs 1.6 After playing Half life

Follow these steps to Fix the problem

1st Go Library and right click on Counter strike and click on "proprites"

2nd Click On Betas

3nd Switch game from "None" to "Beta"
restart steam and run the game.

Thanks guys, thing Valve is updating CS 1.6 and made beta available while sorting out the issues. Works when you put it in beta

Also CS2 is causing extream pc lag...something to do with new windows update?
