Cs 1.6 stutter crashing on linux

I have two pcs one zorin one linux mint and counter strike has been stuttering and crashing constantly mid game for the last 4 days.
Anyone else facing this issue and if so
How should we tell valve?

Yup, I was trying to play today (MX Linux), without proton I wasn't able to pick Counter/Terrorist without freezing on me, infinite looping the last second of audio. Running it with proton 9.5 I play for about 5 or 6 rounds and same happened. =(

Yep, Slackware-current.
I noticed that they updated runtime when it started crashing.

Same issue here, stumbled upon it few days ago and having it to this day. Have anybody opened a GitHub issue ticket yet?

I have crashes when other players use voice chat. Sometimes, without clear logic. Crash is a Steam client, not just a game.

This is similar to my problem, but there is no mention of voice chat. In two cases I tested (via HLTV demo) my game crashed when someone was talking in a voice chat.

I play with voice_enable 0 (no voice chat). So that cannot be related. (that's my ticket)
Decided to try again. Still same ♥♥♥♥
