The servers are filled with bots (clear from gameplay and they have fake Steam IDs). I made a comment about too many bots and within 15 minutes I was perm banned for "spreading lies about bots". The irony is that there were maybe ~5 other humans on, and one made a point about it being good practice, and I agreed with their point! A ban for that? F*ck right off, pal!

This is simply not accurate.

This player joined our server, played for roughly 10 minutes, and repeatedly claimed that the players were bots despite being told otherwise. The players he was referring to were real players. He was banned for repeatedly spreading false information about the server, not for simply asking a question or expressing an opinion.

ClassicCS.com is an established CS 1.6 community with thousands of players who have played on our servers. We have our own community website with player profiles, forums, live chat and other community features, as well as a Discord community. Anyone is welcome to visit ClassicCS.com and see the community for themselves.

We have nothing to hide, and anyone genuinely curious about our servers is welcome to join and make their own judgment. What we won't tolerate is someone joining for a few minutes and repeatedly telling our players that they're "bots" when they are not.

At this point, your intentions here are becoming pretty obvious.

You joined our server, played for about 10 minutes, and almost immediately started repeatedly announcing that our players were bots. When you were told that wasn't true, you didn't ask questions or try to verify anything - you just kept repeating it. Now, after being banned, you've moved on to attacking our website, donations, Steam Sign In, and posting lists of player IDs as if a non-standard SteamID somehow proves someone is a bot.

It doesn't. Our servers accept different CS 1.6 client/authentication types. A player not having a standard Valve-issued SteamID does not make that player a bot. The players you're accusing were human players.

You're also now making completely unrelated accusations about ClassicCS.com that have nothing to do with your original "bots" claim. That makes this look considerably less like a genuine concern from a player and considerably more like someone who came here looking for reasons to discredit the community.

ClassicCS.com is an established community with thousands of players, our own website, forums, live chat, Discord, statistics and demos. Anyone can join and see the community for themselves.

You had about 10 minutes of experience with our server. We'll let our actual community and its history speak for itself.

Yes, I have very little tolerance for two things in our community: cheating and toxic behavior. I remove both without hesitation, and you fell into the second category.

That approach has helped build a community where people enjoy playing together and many have stuck around for a very long time. Anyone can verify that for themselves by visiting ClassicCS.com and looking at our Players page and the community around it.

Running a community doesn't mean I'm obligated to provide a platform to everyone who shows up, regardless of how they behave.

And since apparently running a server costs "peanuts," perhaps all the banned cheaters and toxic players complaining here can pool those peanuts, build their own community, and enjoy each other's company there. We'd prefer to be left out of it.

I have been playing for many months at ClassicCS.com. The community is great, the servers are fantastic... and posters above who claim that "the server is full of bots" are lying. I don't know what would motivate someone to say such a thing, and it's quite bizarre how motivated they seem to trash-talk the ClassicCS server here.
