1.6 is a work of art. in which the only changes you'll find, are the players within its canvas. Pretty much a masterpiece.
The nostalgia factor is a big part of it as well. If you were not around during its early days, golden years or in its prime, well, Sorry.
Some play for the nostalgia, while others may play for the instant dopamine fix. Some play to explore endless possibilities, yet in such seemingly confined environments! Some to discover, some to create, to ..dsign.. for movement, for adrenaline, for goofing around, ect ect ect.. for having fun. ..for all of the above
Welcome. Welcome to Counter-Strike 1.6
1. Recoil spread was " weird ". They kept trying to play css as if they were playing 1.6 but that's not really a good idea.
2. Maps have too many " distractions ". Such as models of cars, plants etc. . They prefered the simplistic, blocky maps of 1.6 because the only thing that would get in your way was a wall or a crate. Also 1.6 has more wallbang spots than css and csgo.
this too.
