When will cs 1.6 go on sale because I desperately need it

You mean the original? It's $9.99 on steam. If you want it that badly I'll buy you a copy. FYI it's an outdated game with lots of angry racist people. I'd advise you to play something better. I'd start with CS:S if you don't have that one yet.

Add it to your "wishlist" and you will get an e-mail notification when it goes on "sale". It's been on-sale for less than US$1 several times in the last couple of years. I often post about it when it happens. Usually, when it's on-sale, so are the other "GoldSrc" titles: Counter-Strike 1.6 (CS1), Half-Life (HL1), Team Fortress Classic (TFC), Deathmatch Classic (DMC), etc.

Umm, CSS and CS2 and has the same problems you mentioned. I'd argue it's even worse in CS2.
