How to find 1.6 Vanilla server ?

Is there a way to filter out servers with and without mods? I want to play the vanilla version of the game on classic maps and without mods, skins/sounds, etc.. like in 2002.

Not exactly, but there are a few things you can use:

1. Sometimes the description of the mod servers are different from the vanilla servers. Use only the "Counter Strike" ones
2. With config/console command "cl_allowdownload 0" you disable the sound downloads. But also the map downloads and other stuff from the server!
