Menu music

[SoHectic *Propane Nightmare*]

Hello. I know that 1.6 didn't had any music since it came to steam. However I wanted to put one so following instructions I found "right" folder. One called media (people told me that I can create it when it doesn't exist, so I did it). I renamed wanted file to "gamestartup.mp3" and then placed it here. Then I lanuched game and well it still was without any music. Can anyone help me with that?

PS This program has a function of adding background music.

1.6 had a menu music. But Valve removed it

u have to name it just "gamestartup" without the ".mp3" and the music file itself has to be converted to an mp3 file

It was never there, simply added by the pirated versions to make it cool

It was there you dingus, years where you were an infant. Valve ruined the game for the sakes for bringing peoples attention to play CS:GO in 2012/13. That also applies to the infamous mouse update and bot removal.

The mouse update is a good thing. Nosteam is unplayable on Windows 10 and 8.1 due to the horrendous mouse acceleration. Even the 2009 version didn't have music. It was only CZ

It's like you've never played the steam version before 2013. Please, check mouse update discussion thread from that period and you'll see how many people got frustrated about it. There was no such thing as a mouse glitch/bug, the game worked flawlessly good within the golden ages. The official CS 1.6 menu music was there but removed without any reasons. Pretty much a lot of people gave up on the game of that update and the decline of competitive matchmaking. This is all just business.

can u suggest some servers in 1.6 im not getting any good server i only found some in cz

Search through the web "Gametracker" and you'll see thousands of legit cs 1.6 servers.

that was originally. m_rawinput 1 works fine now

i know that site since kid lol but most of thme has bots

Thought you didn't know, well if you search low-ranked server then yeah, of course you'll see botted servers.

no top servers i'm talking about it kicks me saying i don't have some files

Yeah that totally sucks, happens on Half-Life servers too. But not all of the server are like that though. Note: I think it's related to the map files or .bsp

I'll send you some servers, but still not all of the servers on the list are bad, you just need to specify which ones are legit
