Crosshair too big, can't change, need Help!

I cannot change the crosshair to the smallest, and this really makes it hard for me to aim. And no it can't be changed in the options, and if you choose Auto, Medium or Large the crosshair is friggin huge. I've never encountered this problem on the Non-Steam version of CS 1.6.

I don't know if the 1920x1080/Widescreen is the cause of this, but it's really annoying.

So it's resolution right? I tried lowering it, but it didn't work.

I don't know why it doesn't change for you it should have changed because when i lower my resolution it gets smaller

if you have higher resolution the pixels will become smaller because more needs to be fit in the same place

It worked. It got smaller, not as small as in CS:GO, but it's better than before. I wonder if the crosshair can be updated on the GoldSrc Engine.
