m3 shotgun update in cs 1.6

i've done some contribution in cs wiki at m3 shotgun's page in strategy section,because i try to play with this shotgun in 1.6 but sometimes i feel sad because i love this shotgun,it requires much skill to play(like AWP) but unfortunately in cs 1.6 is weak against armor because it deals max 85 damage at the chest,and you dont have reaction time to get a second shot against rifles/smg.

My suggestion to developers is release a steam update fixing it, giving to 1.6 the same m3 shotgun of CS Source(the fixed shotgun,with no wrong animation and dealing instant kill with armor at the chest).because playing with this shotgun is the hardest weapon in the game,because with armor you need do perfect headshots to kill,and other weapons are much better to get headshots because they are automatic,even cheap SMGs.

i can say in 1.6 the m3 is the worst primary weapon,because you need do a perfect headshot to instant kill,and a shotgun should be good at close range.most weapons have a similar playing style,like (semi)automatics(rifles,smg etc) and the different weapons are only scout,AWP and m3,that requires skill,and if you miss you are punished.So the m3 should be more easy to kill at close range.

i noticed that last update has fixed shotgun reload,so why not fix the damage?do the m3 of 1.6 like equal source's m3 shotgun.This is my suggestion,i love this weapon but in 1.6 is very weak the way was done.The m3 of Source is perfect, fixed,and should be updated to 1.6,because it dont have the wrong pump animation,instant kill at the chest with armor and the pellet spread is smaller(in 1.6 is still very big).update it,thanks.

absolutely not, the ramifications of such a change would ruin established gameplay.

the m3 is a fun gun, its supposed to work the way it does, if its better in source its because source is a different game.

You are right about the M3, it's so useless in vanilla games but it's quite useful in zombie mod and as for updating it, it ain't happening.
Over the years Valve have gave significant small updates to CS1.6, most of them are bug fixing and security patches. Gameplay changes won't happen.
