Counter Strike 1.6 will not launch on Mac OS Catalina

Just upgraded today, and now CS 1.6 will not launch in STEAM. I had to re-download STEAM because it was a 32-bit application. After downloading, CS 1.6 will not launch. Is this the same for anyone else?

It looks like we're F*cked. Can't f*cking believe this, I would have never updated my Mac OS if I knew it would cut me off from CS 1.6. Here is STEAM support's response:

Hello,

MacOS Catalina 10.15 no longer supports 32-bit applications. Apple’s transition to end support for 32-bit applications is explained in more detail in their article here.

Please note if a game does not have 64-bit support (like Counter-Strike), it will not run on macOS 10.15. We currently don't have any information to share about a 64-bit version of Counter-Strike for MacOS at this time.

There's certainly a possibility. Steam got rid of Windows XP with the help of Chrome integration. But I don't know if Steam can use the death of 32-bit to justify this issue.

Well, technically it says Mac OS X series as the minimum requirement without mentioning anything about the recommended requirements to stop Mac OS users from updating. I really piseed off cause i bought it already and I cant use it. my problem is whit catalina IOS, but i bought it cause STEAM says i can use the game with IOS. so i want my money back. some one can help me, how i get my money back?

You can`t use 32 bits applications anymore after the Catalina update, so either you try to downgrade to Mojave, either install windows 10 via bootcamp.
