1. Opening their game folder ( X:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\halflife\cstrike , where " X " is your hard drive where Steam is installed ) . Open config.cfg with a text editor and add the next command : cl_filterstuffcmd 1 . This way, all server commands sended to you will be ignored . Save, close , then right click on config.cfg . Check if " read-only " is ticked or not . If it isn't , tick it . A bad side to this thing is that all the settings you will change in-game won't be saved . The good side is that you won't be affected by plugins that destroy/modify your game . If you want to change something, untick the " read-only ", change what you want , save , then tick again .
2. If you have binded keys, you must delete config.cfg or delete the lines that contain them . Then, you must enter in the game for the file to be created again , and clean .
3. Delete all files with the .cfg extension . Some admins will forcefully create them on your PC . This are executed by adding the line " exec name.cfg " in your config.cfg . Delete the lines if you have them, then do the same thing in the above step .
Reinstalling the game is only a waste of time , when you can do this thing easier and faster .
