Failed to contact game server
Hi guys please do help me fix the problem.. I used to play on this server 66.151.138.19:27015 but then couple days ago i tried to connect but it wont let me connect. It says establishing network connection and then goes to retrying network times 3 then it says failed to contact game server. I have tried uninstalling steam and reinstalling it back (didn't work). I have tried to reset my wifi connection (didn't work) I have tried to verify the integrity of the cache (didn't work) And when I ask my brother to log in into my account at his house my account worked for the particular server. This is the only server that I cannot connect to.. I really need your help.. I'm desperate =[ thank you to whoever will reply

Hi, friend may be that the server is off, so do not respond and so try to reconnect every time or notice that the ip address is well written

I have contacted the admins of the server and they said I am not banned or the server works fine. I have tried everything and research about the possible problems but didn't find any solutions =[

Test giving you connect 66.151.138.19:27015 in console to see if you connect so

yea it is connecting and keep retrying for 3 times.. and then it says failed to contact server..

Did you add it to favorites to see if the active server appears to you?

yes it appears to me... I tried letting my brother use my steam and it worked for him and he can go into the server... I tried it here and my laptop but i cant connect... so i think it has something to do with the internet? and my bro lives only a few blocks away from my house

The truth, I do not know what it can be, it sure is internet problems, but I do not have a clear solution to your problem I'm sorry

They banned you. They're probably just saying you're not banned because they don't want to tell you straight up they don't want you in their server. Or they're just stupid and don't know how to work the server settings. That's what I think is happening here.

i know quite a few of the admins.. and they are my friends.. and they already checked if i got banned but they said I'm not banned.

And yea i am not banned because my brother tried my steam on his co puter and was abla to join the server

Then something is wrong with the server. I never had this problem.

nope.. my brother log into my account at his house which is couple of blocks away from mine.. and he was able to join the server... maybe its my internet connection? even when i use my laptop i can join the server... the server that i put up there earlier.. but then any other servers i am able to join/connect
