Inventory in this game shouldent be just a button press and a menu, from the first person perspective it should be like if you found a bag and put items in it the character puts the bag in front of him and you actively seek out your items from the bag so for management in one pocket there could be ammo, another for health and inside for random junk you collected this can also be meant for a jacket (like in Alone In The Dark) where he looks down and selects what item he wants to use there. Any other ideas or is this idea crap?
