Inventory in this game shouldent be just a button press and a menu, from the first person perspective it should be like if you found a bag and put items in it the character puts the bag in front of him and you actively seek out your items from the bag so for management in one pocket there could be ammo, another for health and inside for random junk you collected this can also be meant for a jacket (like in Alone In The Dark) where he looks down and selects what item he wants to use there. Any other ideas or is this idea crap?

I actually considered this idea during our development, but in the end decided to not go with it because the time it would have taken to implement would have been too high for the payoff :-( But yes, I do like the idea a lot :-)

Ok, just been watching Outlast, that could give you idea on about the player's body and model. In outlast he puts his hands on walls to peak around the corner, when he's crouched he's touching the ground with his hands. Outlast has got many ideas, Eg. Zombie could have grabbed you and you're character is putting his hands on the zombie's head to push him back.
