Oops. I didn't notice this until a moment ago! As of right now there's no native Linux version in the works because the engine Steam Marines is being built with is Pc/Mac only. If the game does really well I wouldn't rule it out, though :)

Out of interesting what engine is it using? Is it a custom built one? If so what is it relying on that doesn't work on Linux?

I would tell you that I'd buy Space Marines when it comes to linux, but I can't. Got my copy already :) Maybe I'll buy again when it comes to linux. Cheers!

Steam Marines is being developed with Torque 2D (non-MIT version). I said some words about Linux and SM on a Reddit post a while back.
