A Dark Elf assassin was sent to eliminate a Thalmor necromancer. When he reached the necromancer's fort, he expected to see other mages guarding the fort. None. Odd, he thought to himself. He pulled up the mask on his cowl and moved in. The fort was... the fort was abandoned. Had they fleed from the fort, knowing who was coming? he went down the stairs into the main floor- and was greeted by a spell that nearly drained the life from him! He barely escaped, but he did escape- eviscerated, maybe, but still alive! He pulled his enchanted sword from his belt. It was a wonderful sword, crafted by his grandfather, who was also an assassin. Come to think of it, almost all of his relatives were devoted worshippers of Sithis. He threw it blindly down the stairs- and when the Altmer came up to finish him off, the sword became stuck in his neck. The assassin pulled the sword from the High Elf's corpse and exited the fort. He needed to hide, for his grotesque, thin appearance could easily be mistaken as a zombie. A few years of hiding later, he ran into somebody that did not run away, or try to kill him, as the others did, but rather requested his assisstance. The ex-assasssin, thinking nothing of it, said "Lead the way", and followed them.
He awoke hours later, in the night. He held out his hands, and with horror saw they were bone. He looked down, and almost screamed. His skin was burned, but not intensely. Yet his ribs were portruding from his body, and his internal organs were gone (The bandit has sliced open his stomach, causing them to fall out). At that point in time, he made the sudden connection of the spell the Witch put on him. He was dead. He stood up, and then looked at his brother's dead, burned corpse. He felt a intense rage. Grabbing a sword on the ground, he peeked out and saw some bandits and the Witch sitting around a fire. He charged in, seizing the Witch by her hair and kicking her into the fire. He then hacked a bandit dead, and seeing two other bandits rush at him, decapitate one and impale the other. Seeing two left, he sliced them dead. Looking at one, and seeing he had a cloak, pulled it off the bandit and put it on his face, which was burned. He then set off to the nearby hold of Falkreath, to Dead Man's Drink. After all, he is a dead man, right?
