Co-op Opinions
Of the two major Co-op camps, which do you support more?

1) One city, multiple players, all sharing the same resources and units - basically single player with multiple users.

2) Each player has their own settlers and can make their own cities, acting together for mutual defense and trade - basically like most city building games (Civilization, Age of Empires, Master of Orion, etc).

I would have to go with 2. due to the fact that sharing a city can get very hetic and could cause people to stop playing coop because of stalemate on issues.
well this sounds like a very interesting consept due to how funny it could be when you play with freinds.

i like 2 but you should be aloud to fight each other if you wish

I think I would personally be in the second camp as well, more because you could always expand your settlements to kind of merge/work together, while if you wanted to split up you could. Seems to offer more to the whole picture and makes worrying about who runs what less confusing.

it would be really fun to work together with everyone then stab them in the back when they least expect it

I suggest both.. Kinda like Anno style. You can play alone against other players, or in a team where you share resources with your teammates.

love it

I prefer that everyone has their own city/kingdom to manage and everyone works with eachother, or against eachother ;), to accomplish our goals. However, "Why not both?" I say. ;)

I would go with both too, it would be cool if peolpe could make "Countries" with each other, them split them up with civil wars if them wanted too, or betray one another some way. Or they could just go lone wolf, make peace or war when they want to or when its necessary.

I support number 1 a bit more however I feel both should be implemented.

I think number 2 because it will give players to forge their own path
