Steam Greenlight

Old PC games...
Why not get some of the really popular games on steam? I know I would buy a lot of those, even from nostalgia. Games like Star Trek Armada or Messiah would be great to see on greenlight.

Contact the IP owners of those games and suggest they be brought over here.

I would like to see a lot of the old dos games like Raptor or Wing Commander. Star Trek Armada I and II are the best Star Trek games I've ever played.

Go to GOG. Has a big selection of older games.

There are some compatibility issues with some of the old games, and Steam wouldn't want people asking for refunds because the game doesn't work with new computers.

As MisterFour said, GOG would be your best bet for old games that will actually run with today's hardware/software. They actually ensure the games work before selling them, from what I understand. Steam doesn't always do that.

And again if the owners/developpers of those games you are referring to..want their games on Steam..they need to contact Valve, Valve doesn't solicit them. (far as I know anyway)
