Why is subscribing such a pain?

Why oh why, when I subscribe to a mod, will it not download then? Sometimes I have to wait 2-3 days for it to download and show up in my load order. Am I configured wrong or does this happen to everyone?

Are you serious?

You just wait for it to download after you launch the game... But before you hit Play

You hit subscribe, start the game, wait for mod to download... AND YOU'RE DONE!

Sub -> Download -> Play that simple.

It's strange. I have never experienced that. I hit subscribe and literally 15 seconds after I open the launcher it's ready to go.

Yea, I think your not allowing it to download, its hard to notice but the the launcher isnt just for looks, it is checking and downloading all subscriptions. You will see status messages on the bottom of the skyrim launcher.
