Projects Abusing 'Comment Delete' Function
This thread was created as a response to some people who think there are certain developers abusing the "delete comment" function in project pages.

Criterion :

1. A comment was deleted even if it was constructive, yet critical of the project.
2. A comment was deleted while it pointed out a bug report that needed fixing.
3. A comment was deleted while it addressed an ethical concern, whether through game design, monetization, IP infringement, cloning, labor abuse, or anything shady at all.

Disqualifications :

1. Dumb comments with neither context nor depth.
2. "Meh, I don't like X on my Steam."
3. Comment was not delivered tactfully.
4. Comment has nothing to do with game design, video games, or game mechanics.
5. Drama.

Please call out these projects, link them here, and link any evidence you can provide.

It's time to put an end to this so called "abuse by devs" conspiracy theory, and list the project owners that do so. This kind of behavior is detrimental to any community. Report them here, if you want to be heard.

Just out of interest - what 'evidence' could there be?

I've seen some threads posting screenshots of the act in question.

Though, I really don't think people would man up and submit.

Because this so called "conspiracy" doesn't exist.....

But no, I'd like to be proven wrong.

As much as I like idealism in that there should be fairness, you are not the not the one trying to sell game. The developer is. Have you seen the Joan River's episode of Louse? Louis CK was repremanded for making jokings at the casino and Donald Trump. His jokes were funny and contructive, yet he still was not allowed to say it because of the small small chance that it would hurt business. One rule of business is that you don't sh-- on the owner.(That is, unless you have a sh-- in, but that requires a lot of people and planning)

If you want justice, don't call out on there problems on their home turf. You are going to lose and there is nothing that steam can do about it. And yeah, faulting the developer for getting rid of drama, I don't like this etc is pointless.
But it is also pointless to argueing a relevent point if the developer is going to erase it. They are selling the game, you are not. It is also pointless to argue to developer about a bug if s/he is going to erase that arguement to because they are in direct control of the game. Have you had an editor actually edit a draft for you? Even the best writters have a buckets of red markings all over their hours and hours of work. It SUCKS and makes you want to give up! Sometimes all of the compliants to a game is more distracting than helping. And if game doesn't work and the developer doesn't want to fix it, let the sales of the game be the punisher not you. The third point, let the report button do the work for you. Steam is very quick on reports.

If you want justice, point of out the flaws of the game in a proffesional manner OUTSIDE their forum. Don't make Steam take away the rights of the developers when really they shouldn't have to.

Lemme clarify;

This thread was intended as a joke, by me, since there are people out here who keep saying this happens. I'd like them to see it through, which I doubt they will actually go forward with anything.

Lol o. Sorry! I am in a transition where I am waiting for applications to go through and I am doing nothing. So a little bit of my training comes in, and I don't have an outlet and yeah... sometimes I forget my audience.
...Kinda like that one Burn Notice episode where Weston just totally freaks out at that one tourist for no reason.
