Professional music for your Games
Hi, my name is Marc. I'm a music programmer with 10 years experience and I've been working as an Engineer for a few years aswell. I work from my home studio here in Auckland, New Zealand http://www.riveraudio.co.nz - my email is on there.

I really would like to compose music for anyone who needs it done. I'd happily do it for free or very little at first.

I'm pretty versitile with my music - I can do anything from orchestral to electronic.

I made a soundtrack for a game back in 2006 originally for an indie game called "War Angels" - the head programmer was Hamish McLeod who created commando and a few other indie games. We did 30+ tracks for this game but in the end the funding dried up and the game was cancelled but here is his website.

I just wanted to ask a quick question: What sort of money do you need to do this? Is the music software-based. or do you actually go out and record with real instruments?

Hello - thanks for your comment

The music is mainly software based yes - however I sometimes record real instruments based on the requirements of the project. I have the capability to do all that in my home studio here.

At the moment I am doing deals with people based on what they're budget is and how far they are into the project - if they have no budget that's fine - but if they are considering selling the product here on greenlight or have some other kind of way I would require either a cut of the project or a once-off lump sum once the game is released. Either way - I'm easy and it's all negotiable. Hello again, I will try not to bump anymore after this last post - I've had quite a bit of interest so far but I'm trying to broaden my pallete as much as possible while I can on here. Like I said - I'm doing Demo's free of charge for people who want to trial me. If you're not completely happy by the end of it we can both move on no hassles and no problems. But if you do take the time to send me a message and have a listen to the results you won't regret it. Thanks!
