Get your smith, enchant and alchemy skills up to 100, filling out the entire trees of each. Alchemy will be boring, but the idea being that you'll be able to craft fortify smith and enchanting potions, which allows you to craft armor and jewelry that boost your alchemy, which in turn will allow you to craft better weapons and armor. Combined with the effects of Lord Stone, you can have very powerful stuff indeed!
