Been looking for a mod like this any chance of adding in the abbility to change into a could of bats when not in vimpire lord form as well? I think it would make the mod a lot more fun as it is one of the cooler perks of being a vampire, just a thought. :steamhappy:

It works fine with Better Vampires, but I think it conflicts with either Royal Bloodline or Dark Maneuvers - Harkon shield Undead Lords and more.

I believe one of the conflicts caused the one-handed weapons in my game to have negative damage ratings (like -24) after they were activated.

Still an awesome mod.

Is this compatable with better vampires?

vampires SUCK :)

@angeloma000 You can try looking for a mod, but it's not a glitch. You have to be in Vampire lord form in order to be recognised as a vampire. It's stupid, I know, but *SPOILER ALERT* it's also stupid that Serena later on in the quest has to convert you into a vampire even if you are already a vampire lord (the alternative is to temporarily lose your soul).
*END OF SPOILERS* Just be careful, because I believe there's a glitch where you initiate combat by transforming into a vampire lord in the dining hall.

How does this mod affect non-lord vampires?
Tromenos 15 jun. 2013 às 4:37
it crashed my game :(

Thanks for your Reply. I also must say "The Best Within" was super impressive to read also. I have "Better Vampires" installed and I have it set on the easier setting because I guess I'm not the best killer, Lol. But I love being a Vampire. My Magic Mod helper is" Invested Magic" which really helps the great lack in Magic that we got in Skyrim. When I saw your Lord Perk TreeI thought it would help me get some points because I'm not in Lord form alot. The length of time it takes to change into on or out I'd be killed, Lol..Vampric Drain is still really weak so I have to use something else...Sadly what's a Lady Vamp to do?

ElderGamer1, you can only access the Vampire Lord perk tree by accessing the tab-menu when already in Vampire Lord Form. The points you use are not your regular perk points from leveling but rather points you get for killing living creatures with Vampiric Drain or with a melee power attack while in Vampire Lord form.

I am loving what I am reading about your Mod! One big question...When I level up and I am supposed to go to the regular skill, health and stamina part first, how am I able to advance my Vampire Perk Tree...Please don't laugh as I feel so terribly dumb I have not been able to upgrade my Vampire Perks to date...

Yyup. The eye mod was conflicting with this one. I have no idea why, but it was. This works now. On the downside, I have that irritating split-lip thing again... What is it about becoming a Vampire Lord that gives you permanently chapped lips!? Seriously, Harkon, you've been alive for thousands of years with that issue, and you haven't come up with chapstick yet?

*rant over* Anyways, I like this mod and am glad that it's working now. I was wondering if you would know of any mods that would remove the split-lip and be compatible with this mod? Thanks!
DHDragon 12 out. 2012 às 11:50
Hmm. Since I downloaded this mod, I can't use the Vampire Lord power without the game freezing up. It's a shame, since I really wanted my character to actually get some use out of Harkon's bloodline without having to go all Fugly-Mode, but oh well. The only other Vampire mod is one that changes the eyes, I can remove that one first and see if it fixes it, but if not I'll let you know and I'll have to unsub T_T

This mod, and its werewolf cousin are among my favorites as I always felt the native form of my sups should be enhanced, and they are not OP like so many others. I had a thought, since there are more perks left unmodified, could you add other little bonuses. One thought I had would be a movement speed bonus, especially for the Vampire since a lot of vamps tend to be mage/nightblade/assasin types, and a little extra battlefeild mobility would be amazing. Thanks for these great mods and keep up the great work!

Umm... Will these perks conflict if I use the Revamped Vampire Lord mod?

Version 1.2 is up, please follow upgrade instructions if you are upgrading from the previous version. From now on any new versions won't need the addspell/removespell tango.
elGrecoLoco  [autor] 29 ago. 2012 às 20:05
The current version of this does not list the powers of the effects in human form. When I update this one to 1.2 it will work similarly to Beast Within and show a single active magic effect.
Zeddiclease 29 ago. 2012 às 15:57
The perks appear just fine in my vampire lord form, but nothing pops up in my "active effects" part, is this normal? for your werewolf mod there is an effect saying "your beast blood gives you power" or something similar, so i'm assuming that there should be something like that for this?

DO YOU NEED DAWNGUARD
Grubbs008 16 ago. 2012 às 21:58
Would it be too much to ask to make Your character (if a male) to look exactly like Harkon while in Vampire Lord mode...
NOOI3 15 ago. 2012 às 22:27
I seriously dig both the werewolf mod and this. They're small, unobtrusive and ad a little something to the gameplay. After I got dawnguard i played as werewolf for a while (i mean actually using it) and got bored fairly easily. Then when I switched to vampire quest line - the only thing I've been using vampire lord for is roaming through areas looting after I've cleared them. vampire lord form doesn't suffer overabundance of any kind: That is literally the only thing I've been using vampire lord for - and with a mod like this I'll have an actual reason to use it and level the perks. Really good work. Also, you always could use werewolf endlessly even without using t to wait 24 hours. just grab hircine's ring - unlimited werewolf usage.
elGrecoLoco  [autor] 15 ago. 2012 às 14:10
You could indeed, though I believe the unmodded games only allows Aela to re-werewolf you once. I am going to upload a new version soon that will make this unnecessary from the next version on.
In fact getting cured in-game may be the preferred method because depending on mods and scripts sometimes the game will give you a "spell not added" message if you try with the console. In this case only the in-game cure + reinfection will take care of it.
Manimarcor 15 ago. 2012 às 2:05
Couldn't you just switch to being a werewolf using aela the huntress and then switch back??? And vice versa for werewolf mod
shakespearsinsults 14 ago. 2012 às 7:43
cool nice mod
Kardrik / Durza 13 ago. 2012 às 11:22
Well, it ended up making my character look normal. Not sure what caused it, but could you look into why this mod would cancel out the vampire race textures?
Lelouch 13 ago. 2012 às 8:19
Can you make it possible to use (toned down) versions of night powers/blood magic in untrasformed form?
Lutin de Dieu 12 ago. 2012 às 18:08
Wow, this looks like a great idea! Good work!
