No, but you can certianly use a drain health spell in one hand while using this in the other.

can you drain other people's health with your virsion?

The reason they made the spell as it was is because with your variant you can abuse it with healing spells as an infinite mana source with no risk. Just cast healing in the left hand and "equilibrium -- blood is power" in the right.

Still, I think that even considering that this is still a viable way to play since you could otherwise abuse one of the many other ways to restore or just avoid using mana, which are imo all worse then this. Also, +1 for the GW1 icon and name. :P

My first GW1 charactor was a necromancer, I used blood is power a lot.

Obviously you've never played guild wars 1, it's one of the most iconic skills in the whole game. A staple in so many teams.

Secondly, the "blood is power" icon in GW2 does not look like this icon.

This is a good improvement to the spell or raplacement i guess, I usually would'nt get enough mana and die before I was able to do anything.
