you can't with the workshop version (because of technical restrictions with workshop files) so if you want to choose any hood color go to the Nexus page of this mod (link in description) and download the v2.1 (you can install it with Nexus Mod manager to choose what you want basicly)
Hotpocketmunchr Jun 17 @ 11:00am
ow do you change the linnen colors? I hate the brown original colors that a couple have and want to have the blue one.
The soul collector Jun 10 @ 7:29am
thx :)
Psychosteve  [author] Jun 10 @ 6:03am
@fullmetalalchemist894 : no DLC needed (this pack is just a retexture version of the masks, no script, no DLC assets)
The soul collector Jun 8 @ 4:45am
do you need any dlc ?? if you dont definatly subbing
Flamingsora Jun 7 @ 7:38am
@ Psychosteve OMG ty
Psychosteve  [author] Jun 7 @ 7:25am
@Flamingsora : yeah i will do a dragonborn version... but still i dont know when
Jawso Jun 6 @ 12:57pm
Reminds me of the Bionicle "Masks of Power"
Anybody remember those?
Flamingsora Jun 5 @ 12:39am
will you be doing one for dragonborn? some of those masks just look saddening to look at...they need a retex
Realbadman May 12 @ 9:10pm
Visit for the latest version.
Leoro711 Apr 20 @ 12:36am
How do you change the color of hood you use? Or is that possible.
cjdm24 Apr 18 @ 7:29pm
Nahkriin doesnt have much of a change, nor is the change THAT good looking. the rest look pretty boss doe
OhPapaTony Apr 13 @ 1:29pm
Psychosteve  [author] Feb 6 @ 8:12am
@Space Core : check if you don"t have another mask mod installed...if that's the case there will be a conflict for sure
BrickermanPalooza Feb 5 @ 5:34pm
In the picture, the purple linen hood reminds me of Tali from ME...
Space Core Feb 5 @ 5:04pm
bad news... it doesnt work D:
Eagle Eye Feb 2 @ 7:07am
ok thanks
Psychosteve  [author] Feb 2 @ 7:04am
@Tortured Snake S : you have to make a quest (hidden - not in the quest journal)...go find the wooden mask to start it then find all 9 other masks by killing the dragon priests

@Seth Vortu : thanks...they are indeed ugly ;)
Seth Vortu Feb 1 @ 7:05am
You did a great job with these masks dude. Pretty sure they were ugly to begin with, but now they're ugly, detailed and appealing.
Eagle Eye Jan 31 @ 9:05pm
where can i get the masks in skytrim where do i find them
Psychosteve  [author] Jan 25 @ 6:04pm
it's really risky to merge all ESP in 1... try to merge (if you manage) some mod of the same make groups of mods (for example for "Realistic Light & FX" you have 4 ESP for the main mod + options...those can be merged into 1
Space Core Jan 25 @ 4:33pm
yeah theres a way to get around the 255 mod limit which is to use wryebash to make a bashed patch as it merge's compatible esp's together into one esp thus bypassing the mod limit. Problem being out of my like 300 mods it says only 2 are mergeble. I gots to find a way to get the other esp's mergeable. but to figure out your mod ill just uncheck some esp's and try it out :)
Psychosteve  [author] Jan 25 @ 3:15pm
> 254 mods with Nexus Mod Manager (which is already a LOT)

> "unlimited" with the Skyrim launcher... but there will be a memory usage limit of 3 Gb (if you're playing with a lot of scripted mods, lots of heavy HD textures it will reach this limit pretty fast) see Gopher's video about that on his Youtube Channel
[T-GK] Hyde Jan 25 @ 3:03pm
Out of curiosity, what's the maximum number of mods you can have active at once?
Psychosteve  [author] Jan 25 @ 11:51am
you don't need to merge any ESP with the Nexus 2.1 version (manual)... This nexus version is using loose BSA, no ESP... using this version will help you get 1 free mod slot
Space Core Jan 25 @ 8:46am
Hey man, sorry I havent gotten back to you yet on weither or not the nexus version is compatable with the dragon preist armory. Its just that ive recently hit that old mod limit and have installed both Wryebash and BOSS, problem is that wryebash says only two of the mods are mergeable. Do you know if there is anyway to make the other mods mergeable? Most of my mods I download from the steam workshop if that has anything to do with it. If you could help me out it would be much appreciated!
[T-GK] Hyde Jan 19 @ 8:42am
The mask retextutres remind me of the Bionicles.
Psychosteve  [author] Jan 19 @ 7:58am
;) tell me if it's working
Space Core Jan 19 @ 2:44am
oh ill just install them manually from the nexus as that seems like it would be the way to go, I just never knew how to do this thanks for the instructions man!
Psychosteve  [author] Jan 18 @ 7:48pm
...when i said to install the mask's textures from the "folder" i wanted to say all files inside those folder ;)
Psychosteve  [author] Jan 18 @ 7:45pm
@Space Core : if the author of "dragon priest armory" mod didn't change the texture pathr in is ESP files my mod should be compatible...but i guess you want my masks with the other mod's hoods...with the workshop version it's not possible 'cause it's an "all in one" ESP file.

You can try to put my mod before the other one in your load order (don't know if it's going to work)...or

You can try to remove the workshop version and install the 2.1 manual version from Nexus (like above) then just install the mask's textures ("mask" folder for the mask's textures and "Maps/default" for the normal maps) into your "Data/textures/armors/dragonpriesthelm" game folder...with that only the masks will change.
Space Core Jan 18 @ 11:09am
hey is there any way you could make this compatible/work with the dragon priest armory mod? as these are amazing retextures and i would like to use them in a full set of dragon priest robes.
D4NGERZONE Jan 4 @ 12:38pm
Okay thanks
Psychosteve  [author] Jan 4 @ 7:15am
@D4NGERZONE : nothing should conflict with any enchantment mod... this version is only a retexture of the original textures, no script. It can only conflict with other mask retexture mods
D4NGERZONE Jan 3 @ 7:45pm
Will this conflict with a mod that changes the enchantment?
Psychosteve  [author] Dec 24, 2013 @ 7:15am
@thadudebrian : You can't...the mod on Steam is a personnal selection of my complete mod from Nexus (read description above)
thadudebrian Dec 21, 2013 @ 6:04pm
how do you change the hood color
Ryze is sleeping, fuck you Will. Dec 17, 2013 @ 3:23pm
could you make a version without the hood edits? I like this being compatible with the Dragon Preist armory mod by some other guy, but how the hoods' colors change conflicts with the robes.
Psychosteve  [author] Dec 13, 2013 @ 9:59pm
Dragonborn masks are planed but will be done when i will have some spare time ;)
Inventor8 Dec 13, 2013 @ 5:44pm
could you make a dragon born version
Bandersaur Dec 12, 2013 @ 5:44am
I am astounded. My main username during my younger years was also PsychoSteve. Wear it well my good sir, and proudly. =)
Narum96 Nov 16, 2013 @ 7:57am
Will try that and tell you if it works :)
Psychosteve  [author] Nov 16, 2013 @ 7:53am
Maybe you can contact "Dragon Masks - Face Slot Special" author to ask him if he wants to make a version of is mod with my textures...he just has to contact me for me to give him the permission to use my textures for his mod...i'd be glad to do that :)
Psychosteve  [author] Nov 16, 2013 @ 7:50am
it's going to be the same problem with every similar mods... for example if you have a mod that modifies Brezzehome and installing another Breezhome will experience some problems, sometimes it's just "small" incompatibilities (visual gliches or object / building clipping) and sometimes it's worst like game crashes
Psychosteve  [author] Nov 16, 2013 @ 7:47am
as i expected there is an incopatibility..."Dragon Masks - Face Slot Special" is using only custom armor texture pathes but is not changing the ground / inventory object textures that's why you can see my textures in the inventory.

try this last solution :

> uncheck my mod (Workshop)

> go to my Nexus mod page :

> download "Psychosteves DragonPriest Masks Manual"

> unzip the content of the "masks" folder into your "skyrim\Data\Textures\armor\dragonpriesthelm" folder (you can create a "dragonpriesthelm" folder is there is none)

> launch the game and check if it's working... i'n not 100% sure it will work because i don't know where the author of "Dragon Masks - Face Slot Special" put is texture path but if he's using vanilla texture pathes it will replace his textures by mine
Narum96 Nov 16, 2013 @ 7:38am
When adding in "Dragon Priest Masks Enchanced" aswell, my head disappeared. Tested it to be compitable with the mask slot mod, it only disappears when yours is active aswell for some reason.
Narum96 Nov 16, 2013 @ 7:29am
CONFIRMED: Incompability with the mod named "Dragon Masks - Face Slot Special"

Turned off all mods but these two, let your load last and I got your textures in the inventory, whilst it displayed the vanilla textures on my character.
Narum96 Nov 16, 2013 @ 7:25am
Turned off ALL mods except this mod, random alternate start, character creation overhaul and the mask slot mod, results: I can see the mask now, but with vanilla textures and no hood (as expected from the face slot), will keep trying with different setups and see where it goes. Note: It worked on a clean save with no mods but yours turned on.
Psychosteve  [author] Nov 16, 2013 @ 7:00am
2nd test : try to uncheck "face slot mask mod"

> open the "skyrim launcher"

> Data file

> uncheck the "face slot mask mod" + OK

with this you'll be 100% sure... if the my mod is working fine this will mean that the other mod is using custom meshes and textures which IS not compatible
Psychosteve  [author] Nov 16, 2013 @ 6:54am
hummm...i think there is a compatibility issue in this problem. Maybe the "face slot mask mod doesn't take the textures properly because is using is own texture and meshe pathes (my 2.1 version is using vanilla texture / meshe pathes)

before doing any uninstall of any mod maybe you can try to change your mod load order :

> open the "skyrim launcher"

> Data file

> selec my mod and use the "modify load order" arrow to put my mod AFTER the other "face slot mask mod"

try to test that and tell me if it's working or not ;)
