@kellysimon: It will stay on until you use the power again or some in-game event happens to dispel it (as far as I know, nothing in the default game)
kellysimon Mar 20 @ 8:40pm
this may sound like a VERY, VERY stupid question, but does this mod make it so that you can toggle the night eye (for khajiit) on and off, and if its toggled on, will it stay on permanently (until i toggle it off)?
AbadopolGrimspree Feb 12 @ 2:33pm
Makes more sense to have in game.
Felix Fox  [author] Nov 26, 2014 @ 2:47pm
@☢☢: Yes. Make sure this mod is loading after any other mods that modify night eye (SkyRe, Resplendent Races, etc)
☢☢ Nov 26, 2014 @ 10:08am
Doesn't work(playing on kadjit), I have 100 mods installed, is there any incompatibles?
DuoAthePhantom Nov 25, 2014 @ 9:43pm
@Nostre The Giant : There is one called Wolf senses, but it only applies to werewolves and there is no way to turn it off while in wolf form, it does adapt dependent on the amount of light around so it's pretty cool
Felix Fox  [author] Sep 12, 2014 @ 2:49pm
@Nostre The Giant: I think I've seen one on the Skyrim Nexus website. Google can probably help you out there.
Nostre The Giant Sep 12, 2014 @ 1:50pm
do you know of any adaptive night eye mods on steam?
Postis Per Jul 22, 2014 @ 8:53am
ok thanks
Felix Fox  [author] Jul 21, 2014 @ 7:41pm
uCry: Not unless you have a mod that lets you use choose powers to in werewolf form. This mod doesn't add that capability, just makes night eye a toggled ability.
Postis Per Jul 21, 2014 @ 10:55am
so when im a werewolf i press F (i changed controls) i only shout to scare enemies i cant turn off nighteye?
Dex Amicus Jul 20, 2014 @ 3:51pm
Perfect, i'm looking for realistic immersion mods and this one will do just fine then.
Thanks for making this +Sub +Like +Fav
<3 Khajiit :P
Felix Fox  [author] Jul 20, 2014 @ 3:45pm
DrallumGC: That's right. This mod makes it a permanent effect instead of a temporary one.
Dex Amicus Jul 20, 2014 @ 1:54pm
Ok, so how i understand this - now the night eye power doesnt automatically deactivate.
Instead it lasts forever and can only be deactivated manually? (pressing >Z< again?)
Felix Fox  [author] Jul 20, 2014 @ 1:37pm
uCry: You must first be a race that has the Night Eye lesser power (Khajiit, Vampire, anything mod-added that has Night Eye), select it, and then press the Shout button (Z by default I believe)
Postis Per Jul 20, 2014 @ 12:32pm
how do i toggle what button ?
[☑ Rekt] Colbycheese20™ Jul 15, 2014 @ 4:47pm

Exalio Jun 12, 2014 @ 11:26am

Ido May 27, 2014 @ 2:48pm
k... didn't realize i need steam version for this...
Felix Fox  [author] May 23, 2014 @ 5:40pm
Ido: Subscribe IS the download button!
Ido May 23, 2014 @ 12:57am
Umm sry I'm a newb here but... I click Subscribe, now where the heck is the download button??
Felix Fox  [author] Mar 21, 2014 @ 2:43pm
I... don't know! I can't remember the Creation Kit that much. Perhaps the vampire code may be able to help.
Onichu Mar 21, 2014 @ 1:57pm
Gotcha. Now how the heck would I be able to add abilities to a werewolf in human form? I can only find the WerewolfBeast race in the Creation Kit!
Felix Fox  [author] Mar 21, 2014 @ 12:21pm
roberto: I don't believe werewolves have night eye accessible by default -- a mod would give you access to it. Nonetheless, since it's the same night eye used by Khajiit/vampires, it'll work as long as you have a mod that gives night eye to werewolves.
Onichu Mar 20, 2014 @ 5:44pm
Do werewolf characters have to be in beast form in order to use their Night Eye?
Felix Fox  [author] Mar 6, 2014 @ 6:07am
superfly541: It works on any race has night eye (including custom ones if they use the vanilla night eye) -- it doesn't add it to any of the others if they don't have it
superfly541 Mar 5, 2014 @ 7:27pm
do you have to be a vampire, khajit, or werewolf for this to work? or will it simply work for all races?
SeenZ Mar 3, 2014 @ 2:48pm
Simple and makes the game more comfortable.
Mohekee Jan 5, 2014 @ 9:50pm
I wear my sunglasses at night!!
kcaen Sep 19, 2013 @ 1:49am
This works perfectly and, with the mod for Night Eye for all the races, it is exactly what is needed. Great mod.
Maebure Aug 8, 2013 @ 7:33pm
Exactly what I was looking for.

On a side note: There is an adaptive night-eye mod as well. It isn't a complete toggle though so possibly a mix of these two could be nice. A toggle power that automatically activates in low lighting.

Not as a replacement for this mod, as some I'm sure would prefer it this way, but maybe as an alternate mod.
Saphire Gem Jul 31, 2013 @ 8:04pm
can't see still even as a vampire. i have the mod(s) ultra skyrim lighting overhaul v3
Benyed Jun 28, 2013 @ 8:01am
good idea, simple mod.
Felix Fox  [author] Jun 18, 2013 @ 9:14am
@Darth Crunchus: I'd do that if I had any idea how to :(
Darth Crunchus Jun 18, 2013 @ 8:31am
Something else that might be useful, ESPECIALLY for the Khajiit, might be, say, like a permanently active, adaptive Night Eye, considering that cats automatically have the ability to see at night...something that say, adjusts the spell intensity based on the surrounding ambient light, and, when entering a dark dungeon from a daytime exterior might take several seconds for thplayer's eyes to "adjust"? I don't even know if this is possible, but, again, it's just an idea I thought I'd ping off of you.
paulwoodland May 29, 2013 @ 5:33am
love it
Felix Fox  [author] May 19, 2013 @ 1:25pm
@SHARKuk: That's the main reason I made this. I played and had to CONSTANTLY turn my night eye back on in the middle of a fight...
SHARKuk May 19, 2013 @ 8:20am
Thank you so much for this.. Running this with the RCRN darker nights and dungeons, No longer do I need to engage nighteye mid battle.
Kissamies May 6, 2013 @ 1:10pm
It has always bothered me as a Khajiit player in the ES series that I have to keep recasting the Night Eye, which should clearly be a toggleable innate ability. Thank you for this mod.
buckshots69 Mar 3, 2013 @ 4:40am
YOU M'LADY!!!!!! Are a Goddess!!! Thank you Thank you Thank you!!
Felix Fox  [author] Feb 23, 2013 @ 2:11am
@Jov: I like to use the mod 'Silent Khajiit Night-eye', which offers a couple alternative brightness/color options.

Jov Feb 23, 2013 @ 12:54am
Works great, thanks! Just wish Night Eye was more effective. :/
Stormbow Feb 5, 2013 @ 5:51am
Yep, it works perfectly. I posted the console command in my previous comment too.
Felix Fox  [author] Feb 5, 2013 @ 5:38am
If they get the version that the Khajiit uses, they certainly can
Stormbow Feb 5, 2013 @ 5:34am
This seems to work for characters that gain the Khajiit's Night Eye ability through the console also. If so, awesome!

Id: You must select it and then use the 'Shout/Power' button (default Z)

Mindfire: While it does toggle the nighteye for werewolves, there isn't really a way to easily access it outside of a mod. Sorry!
mindfire12 Feb 1, 2013 @ 9:05pm
How does night eye work for werewolves? thanks!
Idward Jan 24, 2013 @ 6:26pm
I don't understand how do I get it to activate? I have it selected in the magic menu but it does not seem to do anything for my khajiit character.
Aleryn Dec 27, 2012 @ 9:10pm
Works perfectly. This along with your castable Night Eye are essential, thank you.
