i dunno about this, but i wish it changed some of the races, im assuming that it turns everyone into an argonian
DeathclawLord760 19 mar, 2020 @ 18:56
I'm guessing this doesn't work all the time.
Fluffy  [skapare] 18 mar, 2020 @ 14:10
Unless you have another mod that depends on this one to work such as derp face cure, you can try to isolate your character in an empty room with no NPC and save there before disabling the mod on your mod manager. The mod is very light and has no script, so my theory is that other mods are making your general game unstable to disable stuff. You can try to disable a bunch of other mods at the same and re-enable them after you manage to launch without crashing.
mcrow 18 mar, 2020 @ 12:30
How do I safely remove this mod from a playthrough? I was looking through the comments and saw that others are having the same problem in which the game will crash repeatedly without this mod...
DeathclawLord760 26 aug, 2017 @ 19:52
ok, just asking.
Fluffy  [skapare] 26 aug, 2017 @ 19:22
I play both the regular and special edition. This mod is for the regular edition, the version redesigned for the special editions is on the nexus because it requires extra data that is too much to upload on bethesda.net
DeathclawLord760 26 aug, 2017 @ 15:04
Whats the game your play Skyrim the Special Edition?
Snooooooooozy 17 jul, 2017 @ 15:15
I can kind of imagine this as being some sort of alternate reality scenario where the raiders from Black Marsh came to Skyrim, overthrew the province, and became its dominant race. Hence why the only nords are the ones buried in the tombs from an age long past. Definitely going to use this mod at some point when I want to just explore the Argonian world with that kind of headcanon in mind.
Popo Bigles 17 jul, 2017 @ 5:44
Surprised there is no Naga, lol.
Gylphie 26 jun, 2017 @ 11:59
Thank you for the detailed explanation!
Fluffy  [skapare] 26 jun, 2017 @ 7:32
Once that's done, return to the RACES tab and go edit the Face Data tab and set the head to have the face, hair, eyes, eyebrows you want. To change the mouth, you have to drag the mouth from the Headparts window to your race editing window. You can also edit the Tinting tab too, and it comes with a copy and paste feature. Child actors might be tricky to edit as only certain headpart categories pertain to them. You'll have to set some parts to child, or none.

After that, go test it out. There is a part where you should be reloading every existing NPC's FACEGEN data, but that's not a big deal on regular Skyrim, only on SkyrimSE. The game will try to create a .BSA file that you can delete it so that it uses your custom skeleton, body replacers and such.

That's all~ I've been using CBBE and HDT Physics alongside this and that has been working fine for me, so I hope you can find a way to make your mod setup work.
Fluffy  [skapare] 26 jun, 2017 @ 7:31
I don't know how the shape atlas mod works, but I can tell you how mine works.

It's an old and rather brute technique that only requires the game, the creation kit and a .BSA unpacker. First, you will need to have your data\meshes\actors\character folder unpacked from Skyrim - Meshes.bsa in the default folder location first. You don't have to overwrite anything, it just need to exist in your data folders since what you need is the path of the files, not the files themselves.

In the RACES tab, you can simply individually change each playable race's body by changing the armor/morph, skeletons and skin on the first and second tab. That's all you need for the body.

For the head, you'll then have to setup things in the HEADPARTS tab first, and change every existing relevant head part(head, eyes, brows, mouth)'s data by loading your intended race's .tri files as well as selecting the associated category. This part takes several hours.

Just wondering how you went at making this. I've been trying to get it to work with the Shape Atlas body conversion mod, but run into texture issues. I've tried moving around files and editing the Shape Atlas files, but to no avail. The only way I found the textures working properly was when I went into console, selected an NPC, and then changed their race to Argonian. Does this mod just apply a mask of some sort over the NPC?
Fluffy  [skapare] 22 jun, 2017 @ 18:03
No, this is purely a graphic mod, there should be no conflict. It might be weird to hear lizards say Skyrim belongs to the nords and such, but no gameplay change.
22 jun, 2017 @ 1:41
doest this conflict with nay quests?
Fluffy  [skapare] 11 nov, 2016 @ 6:00
Sorry, the console versions of SkyrimSE have an issue with this mod, and the current solution is only available on PCs because the fix package is huge and can only be compressed and unpacked on a big PC harddrive.
Dragon7 10 nov, 2016 @ 19:46
If you "can"(but you dont have to) make this for ps4 i would instantly download and rate, favorite and love it!:steamhappy:
Fluffy  [skapare] 9 sep, 2016 @ 19:03
Sorry, I'm a big fan of lizards, but I'm not a 3D model artist. Just enjoy everything being a lizard for now. :3 I'm sure you can find other lizard mods out in the internet too~
Selbs 9 sep, 2016 @ 18:53
wheres ur raptor feet mod?
Selbs 9 sep, 2016 @ 18:49

CplCrutons 14 jun, 2016 @ 4:28

Fluffy  [skapare] 13 jun, 2016 @ 21:13
Everyone, so this is not the mod for you~
CplCrutons 13 jun, 2016 @ 6:47
does this happen to all the people of skyrim?
cus i just want more argonians not the whole of skyrim to be argonians
cosmo 19 apr, 2016 @ 11:31
i saw a courier...i saw jarl baalgruf
BlytzDragon 7 apr, 2016 @ 7:59
OMG! I love this mod so much! It feels like I never seen the same NPCs the same way again, you are a masterpeice! ^.=.^
Fluffy  [skapare] 24 mar, 2016 @ 19:58
What I meant is to start the game with no mod at all and toggle in mods at a time to figure out. You can go ahead and use the steam's validate files to make sure you have every vanilla skyrim file.

It could be that someone else made a mod depending on this one? I'm not exactly policing the usage.
archdragon_cur 24 mar, 2016 @ 16:12
Well, my game crashes without this, so I cant really do anything to the saves.
Fluffy  [skapare] 23 mar, 2016 @ 20:51
I don't see why that would happen. The mod's content is 100% materials from the orginal game and has no effect on scripts and actions.

Depending on when exactly it happens, you should test others mods that you have. See if it happens on a new game or just that particular save.
archdragon_cur 23 mar, 2016 @ 15:58
My game wont work without this mod now... dk why. Any suggestions?
Fluffy  [skapare] 29 feb, 2016 @ 14:00
Hmm, I have to say I have never enountered that despite my juggling of these 2 race mods, but I do only use beast races and custom races.

Well, if the face scupter in Riften doesn't do the job, then try this Lossless Race Change [www.nexusmods.com] mod.
Nekira 29 feb, 2016 @ 12:55
I started a new character with this mod switched on. Now, after switching the mod off, he is stuck with an argonian head and a human body and hair.
Sting Ray 8 nov, 2015 @ 11:37
I had a request, if it isn't too much trouble? I'd like to see you make a seperate mod that merges the Cats and Lizards of Skyrim into one, so you get a 50/50 mix of both? I suppose the best way to accomplish this would be:

CATS: Nords, Bretons, Imperials, Khajiit, and Orcs
LIZARDS: Redguards, Bosmer, Dunmer, Argonian, High Elves

That combination should yield the most varity, I would think think.

Please let me know if this is something you'd be willing to do if you ever have the time! Really love the mod :)
WHW 9 aug, 2015 @ 6:37
Yeah ty
:steamhappy:
Fluffy  [skapare] 9 aug, 2015 @ 5:44
It should. Maybe sure you did actually uncheck/delete lizardofskyrim.esp from your active skyrim mods list and load the game and not just unsubscribed. The game will show a message saying a mod is missing when you load the next time, and then all people will be un-lizarded. (Go through a door to load a new zone, maybe)
WHW 9 aug, 2015 @ 3:33
but when you Delete thius mod the mod is not going Awai
Sgt Rock Coxler 10 maj, 2015 @ 16:35
It's not hard to imagine because of the The Falmer (Snow Elves or The Betrayed). But, yes, Hist Infection sounds pretty cool.
Melletch 10 maj, 2015 @ 13:13
Or the Argonians and the Nords swapped cultures and lands...
Melletch 10 maj, 2015 @ 13:12
Hist infection...
Sgt Rock Coxler 9 maj, 2015 @ 22:07
Something like that, I guess.
Sgt Rock Coxler 9 maj, 2015 @ 22:02
If you wanted to add a mini-story to why everyone is a lizard, you could say the Argonians created a toxin that changed their genetic code, forcing the other races to be poisened and turned into Argonians. So nords are still Nords by blood, but, they mostly Argonian.
Fluffy  [skapare] 9 maj, 2015 @ 21:56
You're welcome. :3 Have fun!~
Sgt Rock Coxler 9 maj, 2015 @ 21:55
It works now. Thanks a lot! You are pretty creative with your mods. You helped a lot.
Fluffy  [skapare] 9 maj, 2015 @ 21:50
Do you have this mod actually active? Check your active mods with your favorite mod manager to see if it's checked. Also try moving your load order. Do you have any other NPC-affecting mods active? Some can break some NPCs, although I haven't seen a mod that full on prevent every change,
Sgt Rock Coxler 9 maj, 2015 @ 20:27
Mine doesn't feel like working. I reloaded the game 6 times and started 12 new games. The NPC's are all nords.
Fluffy  [skapare] 19 mar, 2015 @ 22:39
Thank you for the interest. The problem is that the method is rather antiquated at this time of Skyrim's life. With many of Skyrim mod users using body replacers, custom races and custom NPCs, I cannot guarantee compability with them and feel that the opportunity time for this kind of race mod to be fresh have passed. In other words, I took too long to decide/finish modding for other races and I doubt there is a great andience for this kind of mod anymore.
Melletch 19 mar, 2015 @ 22:13
Advent of the Akavir! They need it man. Thanks, Khajiit is a good one to do. Maybe you can pass along your technique to someone and they can adapt the other races.
Fluffy  [skapare] 19 mar, 2015 @ 22:05
Khajiit already exists, it's called Cats of Skyrim.

I haven't worked on a Skyrim mod in a while now, sorry, I feel like waiting for the next Elder Scrolls game to rejuvinate the mood.
Melletch 19 mar, 2015 @ 21:46
If you could make these kind of mods into a series with other races, Nords only, Kajhiit only, Bosmer only, etc. I would appreciate it. but i love argonians. Thank you. Big lizard fan
Fluffy  [skapare] 25 feb, 2015 @ 21:17
Uh, well, only playable races are argonians and a few characters from the DLCs are not affected. It could be a mod conflict, depending on what other mods you have. Custom races can break the mod, and I know that there some off mods that adds or modify NPCs in a way to overwrite the lizard population. You will have to use either this or those, sorry.
NecroDamer(Praise the Hive) 22 feb, 2015 @ 21:28
i need help not all of the npc in my game are Argonians anyway you can help me ?
