Doesn't seem to work for me in whiterun...
Kimbra Jan 8 @ 9:28am
I second the request for this to be in SSE. I don't want to do the Civil War without it. The cities are so ugly after the Civil War. Please put this into SSE!
msharcourt Jan 8 @ 8:09am
Do you have plans to port this to SSE? If not, please grant permission to someone else to port this to SSE. This mod is one of those that I have considered "essential" to play of the game following the conclusion of the civil war. Kudos and thanks to you for providing it.
JewCowboy1776 Dec 31, 2016 @ 3:42pm
Please make a pc version of this for SSE. No one has made a mod yet that addresses post-civil war damage.
Based Sarg Nov 4, 2016 @ 12:56am
Think we can get an Xbox one SSE port?
Jeremy Sep 10, 2016 @ 9:24pm
Thanks so much!!
Grave Digger Aug 14, 2016 @ 10:31am
unsubscribed, deleted, subscribed again and now it works
Grave Digger Aug 14, 2016 @ 6:43am
All the rubble is gone, the rooftop in Windhelm (the one in the screenshot) and the area around the Gildergreen in Whiterun is still damaged. Any ideas what went wrong?
Gol Zin Viing Jul 26, 2016 @ 1:56am
Just out of curiosity.....Why is Heimskyr in the Dungeons?.....Just curious.

Is this compatible with Reqiuem?

Thank you for Civil War Cleanup. I wish to report that I have had no problems with it, and I consider it to be essential. In my latest playthroough, it somehow got activated while I was in the middle of the war, and when I realized this I was very worried that my game would get screwed up. But de-activated it, finished the war, and then activated it, and it worked fine. Thanks again.
Moonshadow Apr 20, 2016 @ 2:02pm
This is a great mod, thank you so much for this :)
I have one issue now, though:
This mod worked with my previous playthroughs, but with the current one I messed it up, unfortunately. I didn't think (because I was too tired that day) and activated the mod too soon before all battles were over, and now it doesn't take any effect (even after the battles). I cannot deactivate it since the game crashes immediately without this mod being in the list anymore. And I cannot go back to an older savegame either since it's been a while..
Does anyone know what I could do to get it to work after all?
pigwing Apr 10, 2016 @ 10:08am
Does this change Helgen in any fashion?

armomoose Mar 28, 2016 @ 1:03pm
Is it bad to download this mod before the civil war is over?
Laresi Feb 27, 2016 @ 11:04am
so how does one run this mod? just wondering if it's automatic or i need to do something?
Lindale FF Feb 10, 2016 @ 12:55am
I was wanting exactly this. Thank you.
loudwhisper Jan 23, 2016 @ 3:37pm
this is essential.
merekstorrgaard99 Jan 1, 2016 @ 9:01am
i would love to see a heartfire adaptation of this where you gather materials and rebuild the buildings and maybe even customize them. Maybe even add a quest for building specific people's houses (like hemskr and that palagia farmer dude) where they consider you a friend and let you take all their stuff hat you put in and it refreshes normally. maybe even add cool things like catapults and ballista on the walls (whether they worked or not they would still look cool and add an ingame reason for the dragons not to enter towns). i suppose i should just make one but i dont know how to do that. if this already exists, please point me to it.

Thanks Joe. I'm currently half-way through the Civil War Quest, but as soon as I finish it I will install this mod. :-)
Mr.Zone Sep 22, 2015 @ 8:42pm
I've got a problem, after I ran this mod once and then unsubscribed, SMIM stopped working for most of the buildings in whiterun and a few other places now have default mesh again. SMIM is working still because of some noticable things like rings and chests, but the posts around whiterun? octogons- not circles. I already tried changing the load order and reinstalling SMIM. Any advice or fixes?
Plague|BodyNetwork Aug 19, 2015 @ 10:59am

It works even after you complete the Civil War. The only thing that you could do to improve it is to remove Heimskr's tent from Whiterun's central square (round?) after his house is repaired, assuming that can be done without breaking the game. Otherwise, it's perfect! (finally, the citizens of Skyrim get off their butts, grab a hammer and some nails, and fix thing up!).
neilbert1 Jun 13, 2015 @ 9:25am
It always made no sense that eventually the citizens of Skyrim wouldn't repair the damage in their cities. It doesn't take much effort to haul up and repair a broken well, fix a damaged house, or repair broken trellises or whatever that stuff is by the tree in Whiterun. Good idea!
stebeven Mar 21, 2015 @ 11:01am
I downloaded this mod and 9/10 times no problem (tested on several saves) but in my newest one I have a breezehome basement mod and it glitched the ground by breezehome and moved warmaiden's over. There are random terrain holes where i can fall about a foot onto an invisible floor and see through to the ground. So pro tip, don't use a Breezehome basement mod with this if you dont have a backup save. Test each different one with this mod xD the holes are permanent, even after removal of both mods.
yrmama Mar 13, 2015 @ 1:09am
I like this mod & had no problems. Should have been this way anyway.
recoveringtime Jan 12, 2015 @ 8:07pm
Ya, that bugged the shit out of me too--exen when they went to the trouble of having peoplw look like their fixing something- and that poor prick spillong his guts everyday at the Talos alter goes without a house. Hey, kinda like real life!! Thanks for your efforts!
ChazWitch Jan 9, 2015 @ 8:51pm
I love this, great job!!
Wyeth Jan 3, 2015 @ 11:32am
@Binch quoted from mod description above: "-For best effect do not use before completing the civil war. "
Binch Dec 26, 2014 @ 7:36am
Doesn't work. I won the battle of whiterun and I'm with the empire. And no I didn't end the whole quest line but still why didn't whiterun get repired ? I waited few days.

Trimix...whatever it was, please don't smoke it again! JoeThinkStudios...good work, keep it up 'caus you got fans.
jjb-54 Nov 12, 2014 @ 10:46am
Maybe this has been addressed?

Is there any way that this mod can be activated for Whiterun and/or Windhelm and/or Solitude one-at-a- time?

What I mean - Whiterun gets trashed first, but you have to wait until Windhelm gets trashed before you can rebuild. It would be great if you can start rebuilding when the first city gets trashed instead of waiting till the Civil War is over.

I hope this made sense?
Michael Morris Nov 7, 2014 @ 5:17pm
I have found a fix for the crashes, I just extracted all meshes from the Skyrim - Meshes.esp into my data folder and I walked into Whiterun without a problem.
Michael Morris Nov 6, 2014 @ 12:44am
Is there some way I could manually delete the scripts in game? I can not even leave helgen without my game crashing. I have deleted over one hundred mods, and narrowed it down to this one. The main crashes are when I go to Whiterun or Solitude, every other city gives me no problems. Any feedback would be helpful. If I can not do this in game, how would you suggest that I delete the scripts?
Dovahbear ʕ • ᴥ • ʔ Oct 31, 2014 @ 5:26am
I don't know if you're joking, do to the rough typing,
but anyways, I get your point. You wrecked the city in your big charge against winterhelm/solitude. It's logical that the cities will be a wreck, but eventually they will have to fix it, and this mod allows that.
Kall Oct 21, 2014 @ 1:20pm
I don't think I've ever lost as much brainpower as I have reading Trimix's post. Regardless, planning on using this mod.
Trimix Oct 11, 2014 @ 6:11pm
I understand why this mod is here and im not trying to be a stick in the mud, but bethesdas a hipacrit so why can't i be too? Anyway, skyrims a game were the fun comes from being "Imbued" (< I use that term roughly.)with the world around you, and paying for the consuceses
(AIN'T NOBODY GOT TIME FO SPELLING CORRECLY!(Or using Grammer, punctuiation, or even big words...).)... So for th purpose of keeping this short so i have time to gock at other mods, im going to get to the point. You CHOOSE if you want to go to war and wreck your fave city... YOU, no not You, YOU! YOU CHOOSE If you want to kill General Titius, or if YOU want to wait 15 days to save the world that should be inslaved by Alduin by now. I think YOU, No its you! God dammit get it right. Anway you get my point, Toutalu!
Elaina Loves Notes Oct 11, 2014 @ 1:54pm
Ah! Thank you so much for making this mod! After the battle for Solitude I was playing tag with some kids and they kept getting stuck behind the broken well.
