Okay so you donated money to the Suicide Prevention Hotline, but you only mentioned depressed people and you use a freaking Sanity meter. Hypocritical much or do you just not care about us "insane" mentally ill people ? Signed, someone who hallucinates and has delusions, thanks.

Why you declined my friends request? That's not a good service. Nevermind... When the keys for Indiegala Greenlight #4 will be added?
Swobes Feb 27 @ 11:21pm
Why the hell is this on steam and not Newgrounds?
Pam the Ma'am Feb 27 @ 5:51pm
hello ive read about this videogame and i am extermely angry - please read this long-winded post on why your videogaem makes me angry
Nonadecimal  [author] Feb 22 @ 9:27pm
Thanks fatbeer85! I fixed that bug earlier today in preparation for the Steam release on February 27th. I'll have an official announcement up as soon as I get this final build ready. I've temporarily disabled purchases on the other stores until I can upload the update with all these bug fixes.
*working hard*

So I bought the game from your website. I really like it so far, though i wish there was a bit more variety. I really liked how if your stats get high enough you can elevate the "trolls" out of the fight by maxing out their sanity or rep.
I did have an unusual bug (if it is a bug) where as the mage, after using the bottom option (writing a big blog or something, takes 2 turns) I can no longer select my attacks. everytime I push enter, it will select and carry out a command that i never got to chose. I died once because it kept spamming the first option. The other times, if I won it would go back to normal.
It has only happened a couple times and I still really dig the game!
tameraowens14 Feb 11 @ 7:03pm
I want this game when can I buy it...seriously valve I want this game NOW
NatureMage Feb 11 @ 5:25am
@Dsrt_Pnk I'm not sure how you bought this off steam as it hasn't been released here yet. Perhaps you bought it somewhere else?

Also, /r/TumblrInAction isn't a great depiction of the Social Justice Movement. It's just a bunch of hand-picked examples of SJWs being completely ridiculous/insane/over-sensitive. It's funny as hell, but it's in no way representative of the entire community. /r/TumblrInAction ignores positive examples completely.
Dsrt_Pnk Feb 2 @ 8:21am
I bought this game off steam. I was a little disappointed in how pro-SJW it was. I was hoping the developer was more familiar with the subreddit page, TumblrInAction to see how the SJW really are.
ScreamingBeast Feb 2 @ 7:42am
I couldn't have asked for a more complete explanation, thanks for indulging me on that. However I would suggest you add some of it to your game's description since it is a bit confusing as of right now and could use an update. Many potential customers might end up here since you got mentionned in the last co-optional podcast.

Of course you can't give us a date yet but a vague approximation of when it's gonna be out on Steam would be great.

Another thing I wanted to ask (sorry): Does buying the game from itch.io still gets us a Steam key when the game's ready? If so how does that work exactly? I'd like to try it now but I don't want to buy it twice.
Nonadecimal  [author] Feb 2 @ 3:32am
I already released an incremental v2.1 build on the other stores last week that includes support for multiple resolutions and fullscreen mode so people can test those features in advance of the Steam release. It will take the rest of February to add Steam functionality like achievements, trading cards, profile backgrounds, and emoticons, in addition to fixing bugs and adding new content. I've also commissioned the game's pixel artist to start designing these new pieces of art.

Unfortunately all these things will take time. I hope to be able to release on Steam by PAX East, but there are a lot of aspects outside my control at the moment. There will be an announcement on the game's Steam page when I know an official release date.
ScreamingBeast Feb 1 @ 9:57pm
Fantastic. Why isn't it on Steam?
Nonadecimal  [author] Feb 1 @ 3:14pm
ScreamingBeast: The game has been on sale on itch.io and other indie videogame stores since May 2014.
ScreamingBeast Feb 1 @ 2:37pm
"Release date: May 2014"

???????
Mushe Feb 1 @ 11:19am
I just found out about this game on the cooptional podcast, looks awesome, very original. Looking forward to playing it.

Looking forward to Steam release
NemesisZidar Jan 29 @ 2:08pm
I love statements like "problem is no one cares for sjw" or "Why people dont want to see or hear SJW".
They perfectly show how ignorant, selfish and egocentric their character is with just talking for more persons than themselves. You are not people, you are not all, you are one, so talk for yourself. Im looking forward to a satiric game with kinda neat pixel graphics and a interesting idea.
Nivius Jan 29 @ 8:27am
i tried it, and it's actually kinda fun
[CGC] Mary the Painting Jan 29 @ 3:32am
This game definitely needs to see the light of Gaben. If stuff like Depression Quest can get a pass, this can too, for sure!
m0zone Jan 27 @ 7:51pm
problem is no one cares for sjw . there most looked down apon there like peta and then 99% people had a crazy inbred child. and that child sits and posts all day to make a change in the world lol
EpicSeven Jan 26 @ 7:01pm
Played this at PAX South and had an absolute blast!! Talking to the creator furthered my enjoyment, as everything he was describing while I played made the game even better (such as most/all of the in-game comments coming directly from real Reddit and Twitter posts).
Thidran [MCT] Jan 26 @ 10:28am
Why not buy it? If it's good, it's good, no matter the politics involved. Judge it based off of that.
No One Jan 26 @ 9:20am
its 2015 is it safe to buy the game yet ? there are to many people . if some one removes them self its a win win for every one
Thidran [MCT] Jan 26 @ 8:02am
One addition to the idiots trying to oppose based on political grounds: You're acting like the other side of SJW yourselves. No need to be a moral authoritarian here!
Caterpillar Jan 25 @ 10:08pm
Just what we need. Another format where self-anointed social critics can 'educate' everyone else on how they need to act. The social justice movement has gone way beyond the micro management of even religions... it's truly sucking the very soul out of one of the last bastions of colour and life... gaming. I'll be green lighting this for sure, right after I green light Anita Sarkeesian's next documentary series (not).
metal sludge Jan 25 @ 9:00pm
i look forward to the hilarious negative reviews this will get
V. has come to Jan 25 @ 8:24pm
played this at PAX south, fucking hilarious to see that the commentators in the game aren't much different from the comments in here
Mozendo Jan 25 @ 7:30am
But's it's a parody, that's the main selling point. Not wanting this game to be successful / trying to silence the gamebecause it has a word that triggers certain people and saying " I seriously hope this game burns down to the ground" and "It conveys the exact same values and ideas that are destroying the video game community. This should not be here." is just hypocritical since you people are acting like real SJWs trying to mass boycott and shittalk some game you've never played all because you don't agree with what the game offers.
Bonerfarts Jan 24 @ 11:01pm
a game about internet arguments?

so basically you never win?
Dan Jan 24 @ 12:44pm
The problem you have is that no one actually likes social justice warriors they are all bigoted ignorant morons. So why would we want to play as one ?
Narit Jan 24 @ 11:39am
Looks like a ok attempt at satire executed in a boring fashion. Existing for the sake of existing.
Talcon Jan 24 @ 11:31am
Finally a game where I can play as a whale
Mozendo Jan 24 @ 11:16am
So let me get this straight, a bunch of people oppose this game because the game is a parody of certain group of people that the complainers don't relate to? Some of you people are really dense.
Jusco Jan 24 @ 11:08am
Calm down people, it's successful satire.
Tehotommi - Teho = Tehoton Jan 24 @ 10:57am
FInally a game where I can play as a whale
King of Donair Jan 24 @ 10:28am
What an embarrassment
Rijqun Jan 24 @ 10:23am
Looks pretty good to me
winrarphile Jan 24 @ 10:18am
the demo was fun
wiex (〜^∇^)〜 Jan 24 @ 10:15am
It conveys the exact same values and ideas that are destroying the video game community. This should not be here.
BIRD UP Jan 24 @ 9:53am
holy fuk i never laffed so hard in my life. this is seriously a game lmao
NeetChan Jan 24 @ 9:44am
What is wrong with you people? This game is stupidity and ignorance towards the gaming community at its finest. I seriously hope this game burns down to the ground, there's already too many money grabbers on steam greenlight.
Apples Jan 23 @ 7:05pm
I will buy this game just to help weed out any "meninists" on my friends list. Although in all seriousness the gameplay looks good for some quick bursts of fun or to kill time. For the right price this could be great.
Mertado Jan 11 @ 12:57pm
@Frank: Or maybe the third installment: Revenge of the Cissies.
CommodusIV Jan 10 @ 8:03pm
Who needs this game when you have hundreds of free forums across the web with varying degrees of difficulty and cater to all forms of stupidity, intelligence and insanity?

Side note: Where's the mods at?
