No long interested since it went with Entropia Universe. I hate that platform and the real money black hole.

Mostly Lvl. 0 steam accounts telling us, how cool it looks to them.(something ain't right...)

I have spent a lot of money on steam but find myself in the Entropia Universe all to often,I wish the two would come togeather already,,,
Gnaar Mar 2, 2015 @ 5:48pm
@bemoguiness the game has permission from Entropia Universe to be on steam and they are working with steam slowly but surely to get it working around steams ruleset. It is one of the reasons the new webshop was created on

I have been in contact with the owners and am a moderator at the official forums as well as a community adviser (Venture Bros is my username on the site).

The game is also being developed seperately than Calypso, by Mindark yes, which is true. It still has small but regular updates.

You ever wanted to have the possibility to earn real cash from playing a computer game? You always wanted to play the most complex game existing on steam? If so then Monria is for you!

Monria is a Moon within the Entropia Universe (EU). EU can be the cheapest or the most expensive virtual universe. Its all up to you. You can play for free and make money, which is challenging but not impossible, or invest and grow your investment, or, if you are not as smart as you think, lose it. Or maybe you are just a badass, that doesn`t care about money, that wants to show off and buy some uber gear? And of course you can cash out your profits.

You can hunt, mine, craft, or trade to make a living on Monria. You can also visit beautiful space or travel to other planets.

I`m playing EU for nearly 10 years now and visit Monria on a regular basis. No other game got me hooked like this one. Is it a gamble? No. Is it easy to master? Hell no! But if you do, its the biggest virtual fun out there. :)
Bemo Guinness Oct 2, 2014 @ 5:53pm
@Gnaar this is not developed by someone seperate. It is developed, funded, owned by Mindark. The owners of Entropia Universe. The people that "bought" the moon ingame only has the ability to give ideas of what they would like to see to the developers and can only hope they put it in. The people that tried to get this greenlit didnt get permission from MA and in no way are programmers or developers. Thats why this still isnt and will never be on steam.
Gnaar Sep 28, 2014 @ 2:18pm
While the game is an asset of entropia universe it is still developed separately and has it's own client launcher that can be modified for steam.
Deadpixels Sep 11, 2014 @ 1:38am
Oh yes lets also add.. You can make a deposit into the game which is instant but withdrawing your money takes 80 days....

Thats right Monria is not a game but merely an in game asset of Entropia which my comment is actually related too.
Deadpixels Sep 11, 2014 @ 1:33am
How this "game" got on steam greenlight list I will never know. Monria is a in game moon estate bought by a group of players but the actual game itself is Entropia Universe which is basically non regulated glorified gambling. You can essentially deposit £10k's of real cash and lose it all in no time.

I would highly advise everyone to do some google research on this. The company running it is doing badly, planet assets are dying and some already have which means people who invested have lost stupid amounts of money and after a certain period of time Minark can just take the assets back.

Development is pretty much none existent.

My advice is, if you want to keep your money ... stay well away. And by this we are not talking the odd £5-50 micro-transactions we are talking about potential enormous losses.

Oh and don't trust anyone that claims $20 will get you a month of casual play... A month of being able to do nothing! other than a quick noob hunt which you will loose.

Xaphan Apr 17, 2014 @ 10:34am
i have been playing since 2005, i play at a profitable level and can make money playing Entropia and i can confidently say please disregard all of Professor Pi le Engineer's comments he knows nothing about this game apparently.

I have well over 1000 hours on Entropia logged, i have over $700k USD cycled on my spreadsheet since the beginning of last year. i know exactly what i am talking about if i want to go out for a hunt at my level in the game i need roughly 1k ped (100 USD) in ammo so lets do a little math
Xaphan Apr 17, 2014 @ 10:34am
now lets say i decide sweat all the ped out. at 2ped per 1k of sweat you need 500k sweat and than will take you well over 500 hours of game time to get. so basically for me to hunt "free to play" i need to spend 20 DAYS OF TIME INGAME to get enough for 1 hunt.

so now try telling me that this game is free to play again. it is free to log in and stand around, it is NOT free to play

now the next issue that it is a "new" game Entropia Universe started out as Project Entropia back in 2003, Monria is a new planet inside the game, therefore any under staffing problems they have is their fault there is an established history to the game.
Deep Space K9 Apr 16, 2014 @ 11:46pm
I find Monria to be pretty entertaining. Yes, it's free-to-play technically, but the options for a free-to-play user is extremely limited and quite frankly, boring. That said, if you spend your money wisely, $20 can get you through a month of casual play for one of the fun activities. If you want nice clothes, vehicles, etc, expect to deposit more. Finally, treat Monria as a game. Some people will brag about profits, but it's basically like hitting the lottery unless you're a major number cruncher with a proficiency for trading. The big thing in this game for me though, is that the developers actively participate on their forums. I have directly communicated with them through said forums. In no other game can I do something like that easily.
[M.A.C.O.] Schrödinger Apr 16, 2014 @ 5:33am
Also from what I've seen you're the only person saying they take months to get back to people. Funny, I had help in under 24 hours when I had a small issue revolving around a transaction. They refunded me 100% and allowed me to get what I wanted. And guess what it was my fuckup, not theirs, because I clicked the wrong option.

Needless to say I think you need to relax, go smoke a bowl or go get laid. Go get a job as a game designer and see how much of a pain in the ass it really is.

Another thing. They are NOT ripping off on Entropia Universe, they are PART of it.

***Register and play the game***[ ]
Monria Website[http]
Monria Forum[ ]

If this was a Con Scam as Uhuru N'Uru , then they would not be openly having people registuring at the Entropia Website... Seriously people, stop looking for reasons to bitch.
[M.A.C.O.] Schrödinger Apr 16, 2014 @ 5:33am
Now then the next note. The game is reletivly new. Also they are understaffed. You cannot expect them all to instantly help you over a bug. Especially if you're the only person who reports the bug. They need more than jsut a few people to submit a bug report, instead they will need a good majority of people to submit it in order to verify that it is an actual bug, and not just a cry baby trying to mark a scam or get some kind of contribution. Being understaffed and probably having second jobs, with families, and having to do a lot of extra things throughout the day, you cannot sit back and assume that shit will be fixed in one second.
[M.A.C.O.] Schrödinger Apr 16, 2014 @ 5:33am
Xantok, I don't think you comprehend what "Free To Play" means. If you don't have to pay for a game, and it functions in a playable way, it is therefore "Free To Play". Also anyone with a brain understands that most F2P games require microtransaction so that the game designers can make money.

Look at it like this. They spent the time to build this game, the way they make money is a lot like how Entropia Universe makes money. In order for them to continue to continue working on the game, they NEED TO BE FUNDED. Now what would happen if everyone jsut handedo ut free games? Well for one none of them would beable to pay the bills or support the needed tiem to help aid the community. It is simply too hard to jsut toss everything out for free.

Xaphan Apr 13, 2014 @ 12:01pm
This "game" is a turd with glitter on it. it may be more appealing but underneath it is a piece of shit.

lets start simple. this game IS NOT FREE TO PLAY thats the biggest line of bullshit you will hear from people, dont listen to them, you need a shit ton of disposable income to get anywhere in this game.

stats for new players are taht 1 out of ever 10 will graduate their discipleship. and half of those leave shortly thereafter once they realize ITS 20 US DOLLARS for 1 gun that will die in less then a week of hunting.
Xaphan Apr 13, 2014 @ 12:01pm
they game will instantly fix any issue that is causing them to lose money, however they will leave a bug in for MONTHS that can fuck you out of money.

don't bother with support tickets, they will take a week or more to get back to you and even then it will be a generic response. should you have a legitimate bug they need to look into expect a wait of 2-3 MONTHS for any sort of conclusion

now we get to the "withdrawl" part of the game. it will take 60 days MINIMUM for you to get your money. Most likely much longer then that, i know someone that had to wait 4 months for his money to finally arrive
ernestjev Apr 13, 2014 @ 3:17am
You not need to depo i playing for many years and not deposited anything to play it. Start is hard like in real life
You should start earn Planet Entropia Dollars by sweating its free to do that and then sell for peds and then buy something who makes you income. Most peoples just traiding here.

@ Uhuru N'Uru If you don't know where you are talking about its best to then just don't say anything.
The game PLATFORM is there for some time yes.... Every planet or moon inside this platform is a different company with their own game.
Monria is one of the latest of the currently 8 gaming worlds that are now active in this platform.
and it is Cry engine .... but keep in mind it still a mmo , free to explore .. but like every game if you want dope shit u need to buy it or work hard ingame.
Uhuru N'Uru Mar 3, 2014 @ 3:19pm
Actually Downloaded this and is a total con Its not even their own game just one planet in Entropia Universe
The "Real World Economy" means everything in game cost Real Cash No Game Money exists.
Each Planet has a Game Theme. Selling this as a separate game is just false.
You Load up Entropia Universe game then choose a planet to go to, they share assets like textures etc so I doubt CryEngine claim, that's not what I saw,
A market place to buy that in game gear with your real money.
I got out fast, even that market system is not theirs, but part of main universe.
It's 10 years old as well, just started this on an existing small moon, not new at all.
Steam should not have allowed this.

I truly enjoy entropia universe myself, and I can't wait to check out Monria. Been playing EU for about a year now and it's great. It's not for everyone, it's very complex and a mature gaming environment. That's what I love about it :)

Sorry, but just no.... If any of Entropia Universe is to get on steam be it either Calypso or Arkadia because those are fully fledged places. Monria is the newest and one of the smallest places. Though it's just my opinion~
Caillend Feb 7, 2014 @ 2:18am
@Cap'nSmash'em the game is set in the Entropia Universe - this game is out for over 10 years this is just a "Moon" in the whole universe :)

Looks interesting.
CAPNSMASHEM Feb 5, 2014 @ 12:37am
Using the Cryengine2, but the character models and everything looks somewhat underdeveloped, at least in the video. It doesn't seem fleshed out enough, or developed enough to be awaiting a greenlight. Maybe give us a video with gameplay, and a rundown of some of the features in action, then a lot of us might be more likely to give this one the thumbs up.
Helleri Feb 4, 2014 @ 1:56pm

As I'm a gigantic H.P. Lovecraft fan, you had me at "Church of Cthulu." Then I actually watched the video. I'm very impressed and looking forward to playing Monria. I will definitely be playing this.
