This is so much its own thing, it's nuts! I haven't decided what it means yet. Now I have to worry if gaming has grown stale while I wasn't looking.

The Kitty Avatar looks bad, but endearingly so. the game looks pretty solid so Imma give my vote.

I love this game so much. I got the full game and its amazing. This needs to be greenlit.

I've played the free version of this and it's top-notch fun! The level design is exceptionally polished and always seems to make sure that the powers you can copy in a level have some use in the level, which is amazing given the huge amount of possibilities. It also does a great job showing you the ropes within the very level design themselves like say... introducing a new copy power and designing the level around it to show you the uses for it. There's also a huge amount of depth to the game thanks to the varying routes and the inclusion of a "kick" which lets you kick through certain kinds of walls and make your own paths to approach obstacles and collect the most useful powers for a situation. So there is a great deal of strategy mixed in with the action. There's also virtually unlimited replay value in going for level goals, playing modes that have randomized elements, playing user-made level packs or making your own levels.

Why isn't this greenlit yet, seriously. The incredible level of polish the last update had just leaves no excuse for it not to be. It's an extremely fun game that manages to get very hectic, while always remaining perfectly intuitive and gradually teaching you to understand what is happening, while always having surprises with both the kind of enemies and the abilities you can have and how you use them.
Graphically the sheer amount of effects and things going on makes for some really pretty visuals at higher-level play that remain consistent with its aesthetic, which after the update is far more varied now. Sound-wise it is no less, as all music is dynamic so it flows nicely into each other.

Everyone should give the free version a try.

Just saying, I love it, though I only got the demo version working on linux, and after buying the Turbo and not being able to get it to work for some reason. I still back this game. I would buy it again just to support it getting a real Linux port. Because if the game is going to have penguins in it, it is only right it has a Linux port.
Deep Magic Aug 7 @ 11:37pm
I bought the Turbo edition today because I'm tired of waiting for it to get Greenlit. I just can't understand why this hasn't got the attention it deserves!
Homunkolus Aug 7 @ 2:22am
Why isn't this on Steam yet?! This game just makes you hyped from looking at it! What is wrong with you community?
Peeray Aug 6 @ 2:55am
I have played several versions of Copy Kitty and liked the earlier versions of it as well, but after playing the updated versions I think it is possibly the best indie game out there and with all the content that is coming up I think this game will keep up improving itself and will sell really good on steam!
Braixen The Bard-Ful Aug 2 @ 3:47pm
Looks promising.
TheDeadOne ▲_▼ Aug 1 @ 11:11pm
How is this still not greenlit? It is better then at LEAST 25% of the already greenlit games, with all that it has, is already complete, and still being updated. Come on steam :S
devilman337 Jul 31 @ 6:40pm
Why can't I like this more than once?! >:C
I saw the trees Jul 28 @ 6:29am
Great game!
Definitely yes.
MetalSharkPlaya Jul 12 @ 10:04am
I really wish I had played this game sooner. I'm having a blast, and will buy Turbo Edition soon! So surprised this hasn't been Greenlit yet!

Copy Kitty seems like a throwback to the good ol' PS2/Gamecube days, and the overall presentation gives me the major feels of Kirby, Klonoa, and some Treasure titles. Fun and addicting fast-paced shooting action, crazy tripped-out visuals, nice and bouncy soundtrack, and lovely sound effects! The only issue I have with Copy Kitty is that, well...I feel that protagonist Boki's appearance could use a little more oomph, as the enemy designs themselves are just so wonderful, and perhaps my favorite part of the game. Personal taste, really, lol, and it's not game-breaking at all, nope nope!

C'mon, Steam! Give Copy Kitty a chance to rub elbows with the greats! You won't be disappointed!

It has built-in support for an X360 controller, and you can use a controller-to-keyboard thing if your controller isn't compatible by default (for now). The game has a controls config on the options screen, so you can pretty much do whatever you want with it.

Also, if you buy the game elsewhere and it comes out on Steam, you'll get a free Steam key for it so you don't have to buy it again. It probably won't have any extra features except Steam achievements and maybe uploading your custom levels on the Workshop.
Brandon Jul 2 @ 9:42pm
This game looks really fun and I hope it gets Greenlit but is it controller compatible? There's nothing worse then having a otherwise amazing game that doesn't work with your controller. Also, is the Steam version going to be different from the one already purchasable on your website? I'd hate to decide to buy the game and then have it come out on Steam and have a bunch of extra features that force me to buy it again.

Either way, this looks like a great game and I will definitely buy it either way.

This is probably a Nope never going to happen.. But could you guys if it becomes a success maybe port it to Wii U? I'd love to play this on GamePad. PC is of course awesome too But maybe try possibly on Nintendo? Hell i'll buy two copies. One for PC one for Wii U.

Not enough ways to say yes to this.
marcavis May 26 @ 5:37pm
Finally got around to watching the trailer and... whoa, if there's a game where the static images *really* don't do it justice, it's this one. It's still crazy, mind you, but it works.
mogwaimon May 25 @ 9:56am
I did my part, I picked up Turbo edition from itch and I put my vote in here long ago. Can't wait for the Steam release, hope it's soon! How far are we from the top 100 here? I'd check myself but I think from what I read only the devs can see that information
Fractalion May 22 @ 11:46am
Thanks for the quick response. I'll be sure to buy your game when I get home from work! :)
Entanma Project  [author] May 22 @ 5:46am
Yeah, we'll make sure things are as smooth as possible, and any time the game is available on another platform, you'll be able to get it there as long as you bought a copy before. Even if it doesn't work by default, the worst case scenario is that you just email me with proof that you bought the game elsewhere, and we just send you a Steam key or whatever.
Fractalion May 21 @ 9:21pm
If the game was to be greenlit, would people who purchased turbo via your site be able to migrate their copy to Steam, much like what KSP did, or would they need to purchase another copy in order to have the game connected to their Steam account? Maybe this is what you meant before, I just want to be sure that is what "and stuff" entails.

If that is what you mean, then I would buy the game today. If not, I'll still probably buy it, because the game is definitely worth my support, but it would be a very nice added incentive for purchase.
Entanma Project  [author] May 21 @ 6:47pm
If you get the game somewhere else, I promise I'll do everything I can to make sure your save file and stuff carries over if/when this gets a Steam release.
Fractalion May 21 @ 12:03am
Oh, I know I can get it from outside of Steam, I'd just really prefer to get it here. Should the game not be greenlit, though, I'm totally planning on picking it up externally!
Nimono May 20 @ 10:21pm
To everyone who found out about Turbo Edition from raocow: You already CAN buy it! Check the latest announcement! It's not on Steam, though...so let's work hard towards getting it here! :D
Fractalion May 20 @ 5:14pm
I found out about this game from raocow when he did his first let's play of it, and now that I know there is a full version out there that is trying to be greenlit, I'm totally going to support it. This game is so crazy and visually stunning, and I would definitely buy it if it was greenlit!
Bappie May 20 @ 2:45pm

Игр с неками очень мало. Можно даже сказать что их почти нет. Пускай даже таких. С удовльствием бы купил.
nagu_al Jan 14 @ 4:56pm
AMAZING!

Just got the demo and WOW!

I love the sprites and the controls and pacing of combat are perfect!

Very close to something many of us have been dreaming about for a long time now.

I would love to see some better / more stylish artwork for the icons representing different weapons and a general cleanup of the scribbly stuff but otherwise the game looks fantastic.

Cannot wait for a story mode too, where you have to reach the end of various levels and defeat bosses, rather than just arena style.

Please bring this game on!
nagu_al Jan 14 @ 3:51pm
Yes, but I hope it's not crazy difficult.
