Oct 1 UPDATE: Issue with missing stringtable dictionaries has been corrected, which should resolve a possible CTD issue when new players join a multiplayer session late in the campaign.

Testing a fix to correct an issue that can cause Beldurra 2 to crash when a new player joins partway through the campaign. Expect an update very soon!

Many thanks to @alBert2000 for helping sniff out a possible cause!

If you're getting a map mismatch error, it means the server's .vpk differs from the one you have installed. One possibility is that the servers are running the L4DMaps.com version (single .vpk) as opposed to the Steam Workshop's version here (split into 2 .vpks because of filesize limitations in the Workshop.)

Alternatively, you can just go to www.beldurra2.com (goes straight to the B2 collection in the Steam Workshop) and click "Subscribe to All" to get them both and keep them automatically updated.

Ah, okay. That's part of their pre-programmed routine. Unfortunately has nothing to do with the NAV or campaign. By default they should use them on themselves/others when their health gets in the yellow. Also: no problem - thanks for responding and not just dropping a comment and running :)

they dont use heal packages on themselves , they collect them but do not use them

I can't do anything about where/when they heal - their pathing is most of what the NAV will handle. Were you saying they just wouldn't use HPs on themselves? Or were there other circumstances?

@JFF - you have to kite the Survivors onto the raft (and yes, the harder the mode, the likelier they are to die (that's the point), but on Easy/Norm, we rarely have an issue. Run up to the raft front to get them aboard.

As for more pipe bombs, explore. There are TONS of throwables (some randomly generated), in addition to the stations which let you make unlimited quantities.

at the end bots dont stay on the raft ,walk in the water and drown or get overrun in the water ,
ai on bots is very bad , zombies with in 3 meter of bors are not attacked bij bots at all .. they do not heal eachother but also the player is not healed :(

bots do not heal themselves , are behaving stupid do not defend themselves .
anda few pipebombs at the beginning of the level would be nice too .

I go to campaign -> play online -> select the server with Beldurra 2. Map isn't for online campaign mode?

Update coming Oct 5!

Will include light NAV/prop lighting fixes, a more polished Snack Machine system, and alterations to horde frequency/density (a great deal of the horde pressure is being converted to wandering mobs, adding to the overall shooting gallery feel!)

Yeah, found out about that after downloading and unpacking the zip. I wonder why the hell Steam doesn't use compression of any kind... Anyway, thanks for the explanation.

By the way, awesome campaign. Was somewhat easy, but I'm not complaining. d-: Also, nice finale, although it took us quite a while to find out what we need to do to break the dock loose.

@koniiiik - 2 reasons:

1) the L4DMaps.com version is a .zip, while the workshop files have to be uncompressed .vpks, which is a problem when you come to...

2), the Workshop has a 200MB-per-file limit, which required the campaign to be broken into two .vpks like you see with a lot of full-length campaign addons here. In this case, the map .bsps are in part 1/2 and everything else is in 2/2!

Thanks! How come the L4DMaps.com version is only 128 MB while here on the Steam Workshop it's 180+130 MB? Is that the whole campaign or just this second part?

I can't get Steam to download this one. Always gets stuck at 45.4 MB and claims is has finished downloading. Could you maybe upload the VPK to a file-sharing service or something?
