not compatible with almost anything and also buggy even when you have no other mods active.
Really liked how it looked like but sometimes you walk from one lightsource to another and in the middle of it you cant see anything (not even the 2 lightsources right before and behind you) - just like the screen turns black and keeps your HUD pretty much.

love how it looks in the areas it isnt buggy as hell.
needs some serious bugfixing.

Not compatible with some mods such as RCRN 3.6- realistic colors. And I like the way the colors look with that one. Since it's not compatible it will not display on any light outside. I have tested this by turning your mod on and off. But inside since that is were the mod applies everything so far looks just fine.

i pretty much have to agree with most other people but i think it is a good start

too freakin bright it some spots and too freakin dark in others! this mod sucks!
Spazmatism Oct 7, 2014 @ 2:27pm
Light is not distributed with this mod. In one spot it will be pitch black, but around a light source there will be a fine line between pitch black and super bright.

Torches give a huge glare when near spider webs or some wall, and night vision does'nt work. But other than that it is a nice mod
Altruistic Orange Sep 23, 2014 @ 9:10am
Makes it too damn dark, the eye room in winterhold is basically pitch black.
shadow999999 Sep 22, 2014 @ 6:50am
this mod has alot of dirty edits, an edit that has the exact same value as the original games causing conflictions with your other mod; Ultra Skyrim Lighting Overhaul v3 so if you wunt to use the both you gonna have to use tes5edit to at least try and fix them.

I've just started to use this mod and what I've seen so far I like very much. Lighting does look much more realistic in most places and having actual darkness in the game is very nice. There are a few bugs I'd like to bring to the author's attention though. Someone mentioned pitch darkness and they are right. In some places all graphics just disappear and are replaced by black, i.e. some rooms in the Mage's Guild and in The White Phial in Windhelm. Using a candlelight spell allowed me to see, but nightvision did not. In The White Phial, darkness closed in even on the candles. A few bugs, but overall adds an enjoyable experience.

An Update could do! Sometimes, theres a glitch where everything turns black? Anyone else who has seen that?

Not only is this mod absolutely gorgeous and probably the best lighting mod I've experienced yet, but it also fixed a weird frame rate/lighting issue I was having inside houses and in certain areas... I had looked into various solutions but after installing this mod that won't be needed. 11/10.

best interior/dungeon lighting mod so far. thx
imautobot Mar 2, 2014 @ 3:49pm
How can I remove this mod? If it's the only one I deactivate the game will crash from the get go. It would appear that my only option is to either start over, which isn't happening cause I'm level 38 already, or just learn to deal with the darkness. There has to be some way to turn it off without crashing.
5th::Drasqo Feb 17, 2014 @ 4:46am
Nice idea, but it's way too dark. Your missing entire pathways or enemies shooting at you without having a clue where it's coming from cause it's pitchblack.
Turn it down a few notches and ill be using it again.

ATTENTION players!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! there will be a new mod that will look x10 better. along with an ENB with that works even better with this new mod comming out.
Icey. #GoingOTE Feb 11, 2014 @ 12:22pm
In the inns, the candles that are supposed to light the dark areas are not even lighted at all.
LiqMat Feb 10, 2014 @ 8:27pm
Way too much saturation for my taste
sOIL Feb 7, 2014 @ 7:40pm
Also very useful since i'm with the Dark Brotherhood and i'm a Vampire. So i need this for sneakin' around
sOIL Feb 7, 2014 @ 7:38pm
lighting mods*
sOIL Feb 7, 2014 @ 7:38pm
Y'all can use the Vampire's Sight if it's to dark...thats only if your a vampire. It's what i use for all the lighting on Skyrim.
StarTic Jan 30, 2014 @ 5:17pm
ok in places like the thalmor embassey its WAY too dark. those places should be lighted unlike dungeouns
ChampionofXenu Jan 28, 2014 @ 4:28am
i like this a lot but it goes to town on my eyes in some places and makes it hard to sneak since i always need a torch to get around
Arsenal.ca Jan 25, 2014 @ 12:18am
Lights out I cant see a thing... nice try but maybe not.
bman8craft Jan 11, 2014 @ 8:11pm
some spots are too dark pls change so i can see spots in dungons
papercut2211 Jan 3, 2014 @ 3:39pm
like this, but it renders the khajiit's night eye ability useless
shassels Jan 3, 2014 @ 8:17am
best
ser Ritter of Darkwood Jan 1, 2014 @ 10:48pm
I LOVE this mod, However it's a little much when I'm inside a shop.
DaRealSlenderMan  [author] Dec 31, 2013 @ 4:45pm
Ya theres a small hit in fps. More darkness and contrast in a game the more fps drop rate.
Heisenberg Dec 31, 2013 @ 3:42pm
What does this do to FPS? i assume some hit is expected, but small at that.
xX_NO_SCOPER_Xx Dec 30, 2013 @ 1:04pm
thanks
xX_NO_SCOPER_Xx Dec 30, 2013 @ 12:44pm

The Knight Who Screams Help Dec 30, 2013 @ 10:52am
Alright, thank you. Sorry to bother. Might there be a future fix?
DaRealSlenderMan  [author] Dec 29, 2013 @ 10:39am
Oh install the first Lighting mod that affects all of skryim. then install this one for better affect in interiors. Otherwise theres some issues.
The Knight Who Screams Help Dec 29, 2013 @ 4:31am
Installed it a little bit after writing that comment, and they seem to mess each other up. ill hvae to give it another shot later. Fantastic mods BTW, completely changed how I play Skyrim
DaRealSlenderMan  [author] Dec 29, 2013 @ 12:06am
Yes it does work. Infact i would use both.
The Knight Who Screams Help Dec 28, 2013 @ 11:33pm
Does this one work with your other lighting overhaul as well?
AngryNOOBZ Dec 27, 2013 @ 8:42pm

^0(^3Elit^0BFH)^3 Generalen1477 Dec 19, 2013 @ 6:39am

dasshizen Dec 13, 2013 @ 2:28pm
I just wish it was less "fuzzy" looking... hurts mah eyeballs.
Kyokushin Dec 12, 2013 @ 7:31pm
TOO dark. makes a torch desirable
Ignited_Raider Dec 11, 2013 @ 6:19pm
Makes dungeons harder. Yes.
Ignited_Raider Dec 11, 2013 @ 6:18pm
Yes.
FDL ★KAPULA★ Dec 7, 2013 @ 11:41pm
this make skyrim more scary
DaRealSlenderMan  [author] Dec 7, 2013 @ 9:52am
npcs use a special detection AI with sound, sight, etc. Depending on there AI is depending on how hard it will be. Darkness will help you in this mod. Becuase they cant see you. But in higher diffculties it gets harder.
Majestic Chicken Dec 7, 2013 @ 12:56am
I want to get this for sneaking, but will npc's be able to see you as if it were still bright? And are torches brighter, too?
