I felt that in Skyrim the spells were annoying because if you wanted to have a certain strength of spell that it must be a certain way to cast it. Like novice spells are hold and shoot, apprentice are fire a projectile, etc. This mod was designed so that wizards can use say the hold and shoot spell that is as strong as an expert/master spell, and it must drain your magicka for balance's sake.

I would just like to add that I have had the same problem that Spectre mentioned. For some reason out of the blue my mage no longer knows the blaze spell that I had learned. The game upon loading states that some content can no longer be used because it wasnt there. Just thought Id put it out there as a reoccuring problem. By the way great mod and its a must have when I play my mages!

@Spectre hmm... not sure why, you could try validating your skyirm game cache files, or try reinstalling skyrim as a whole. thanks for the support! :)

I don't know why, but this mod has stopped working on me. The new spells my character(s) had were simply disappeared. I've tried re-installing but nothing helps. Any idea what can fix this? Btw. awesome mod, adds plenty of spells to choose from!

Cool! The flames (flamethrower) spell is my fav spell in then game. It's nice to finally have a stronger version of it.

yeah, been using them already, though i usaully stick the the bow atm, fun throwing voice and lobbing a few fire balls or using rune traps

i hate to say this but the scorch and all the other channel abilities like it are quite op, you can just tap to shoot a bit of fire and the dot effect still takes out half the hp for only 40 ish mana

@AlgalonEUW its especially fun if you make armor that increases alchemy, then a phiter of enchanting, then stronger alchemy armor, and go back and forth foerver. You can get a smithing enchant so strong that you can make an iron dagger to one hit dragons.

Any chance you would consider making a spell mod that uses different colors for the spells? Like black fire, or green lightning. There is a mod that does that, but its done very poorly and completely unbalanced.

Putting it on the nexus now,
I created my own files instead of modifying so yes,
and a maybe on the giant snowball, no current giant snowball spell, so it would require a bit of work. Might add it when Im fixing the glitch

I read about your small glitch. And if you are using the Creation Kit I might be able to help you find where the problem is. I examined "Electrocute" spell and saw that you are using the Sparks "Magic Effect" (i.e. EDITOR ID: "ShockDamageConcAimed". Thus, in game the spell will say novice instead of apprentice. If you want to fix this I suggest duplicating the Sparks (ShockDamageConcAimed), then renaming it something like "ShockDamageConcAimed02",

then changing the box "Minimum Skill Level" to "25" (Apprentice Level). After that open the spell Electrocute, then change the Magic Effect (via the spell's Effects) to your "ShockDamageConcAimed02" (or whatever you named it). After that the spell Electrocute should say Apprentice in game. I didn't analyse the other spells but I presume they came from the existing Magic Effects. But if they are the same as electrocute, then you just have to got through the same process above. Although if you are not using Creation Kit ll of this information is useless.
