food stalls finally have a worth
jinxxed_kitty Jun 8, 2014 @ 5:30pm
I love this mod, I find cooking things for my Character to eat a pleasure, hell its worth the effort and thanks for this mod. 75 thumbs up on it.
jinxxed_kitty May 29, 2014 @ 3:29pm
Nice One, now I can make Skooma and Sell it HA Ha, just after becoming Thane of Riften, Ironic I know after killing Sarthis to clear out the skooma trade. Who Better than the Thane to be a skooma dealer. On that note good job.
violetlightning013 May 25, 2014 @ 1:40am
it's nice to see that i'm not the only one who saw the need for a skooma recipe. lol

I agree with Vass; what texture mod are you using in that screenshot? I don't think I've ever seen it before.
Vass Jul 28, 2013 @ 10:28am
Hey I noticed the food on your pic up there looks different from the ones in ghame so I was hoping you could tell me the name of the mod you used
dodac23 Jul 16, 2013 @ 6:43pm
Food is like the red headed step child that know one cares for. However I do believe that it can be done correctly so that it makes it a viable resource, for example potions give you that instant short term shot of health, magicka, stamina etc and they give a short term buff to things like bow dmg,1h dmg, smithing, blocking etc etc. The easiest way to make food viable is to make it a longer duration than potions with perhaps things like. Roasted Horker will buff your character by x % amount of HP for x amount of time, Where has Roasted Horker Stew will not only Buff a characters HP but cause them to regen health, stam and magicka for 5 minutes to 60 minutes or whatever. Also keep in mind that salt is a pain in the butt to get ahold of to make this stuff so yes it should be a little over powered

this feels like a great concept, i'm deffinatelly keeping this one, props to the mod author
ChristOneJazz Jul 7, 2013 @ 10:24pm

Great Mod, like the new food perks a lot!
Brane De Mage Jul 7, 2013 @ 3:49pm
I agree with Aelemar, as food (at least cooked one) can be pretty useful at lower levels and with little to no gold to afford enough potions. Everywhere I go I first look for some salt to cook the meat I found earlier lol
Aelemar Jul 7, 2013 @ 2:54pm
Meh. I don't understand why people don't use food. I play on the master difficulty, so I pick up all of the food and I'll use it before my potions, because the potions get pretty scarce if you blow through them, while food you can find in the dungeon you're in. I just thought I'd throw it out there that food is useful on the harder difficulties.

Jolly good ol chap! Cheers!

Numcake Jul 5, 2013 @ 5:36am
Superb mod! I completely agree with what you were saying about the 1 health point thing !
Good show!
salty_dog Jul 3, 2013 @ 8:10pm

Alphakal  [author] Jul 3, 2013 @ 6:14pm
ItsMeRyanB. Be forwarned, his mod overwrites my modified values
Edouy Jul 3, 2013 @ 5:31pm

Alphakal  [author] Jul 3, 2013 @ 4:47pm
Good to know people like my mod, then.
Alphakal  [author] Jul 3, 2013 @ 4:47pm
Ah
it was not sarcastic i was literally excited so i had to go in caps
Alphakal  [author] Jul 3, 2013 @ 4:18pm
I can't tell if that's sarcastic or the caps were left on.
THIS IS AWESOME NOW I CAN ROLE PLAY (When i want to) AND HAVE BETTER FOOD! AWESoME BRO AWESOME I GIVE THIS A 10000/10 BRO:balloonicorn:
Alphakal  [author] Jul 3, 2013 @ 10:14am
SInce I'm currently unfamiliar with the act of making the two compatable, I'll se what I can do with the developer himself who created the Eat, Drinking & Sleep mod.
Alphakal  [author] Jul 3, 2013 @ 9:55am
I would think so, I'll check for myself right now.
salty_dog Jul 3, 2013 @ 7:56am
Is this compatible with the eat, drinking, and sleeping mod?
ExtremeDude Jul 2, 2013 @ 3:43pm
Nice, I'll test now
Alphakal  [author] Jul 2, 2013 @ 3:30pm
Update released, Meat's been buffed
Alphakal  [author] Jul 2, 2013 @ 3:19pm
I'm buffing up Meat's HP output right now, It'll be far better once I'm done.
ExtremeDude Jul 2, 2013 @ 3:04pm
Yeah, it must have been those, I think it is kinda weird that meat isn't worth the most (even tho I'm vegetarian :3)
Alphakal  [author] Jul 2, 2013 @ 3:01pm
If it's raw meat and bread, then not much has been changed. If enough people are opposed to the reduced HP I have right now, I'll put it back to what I had originally. Meaning Apples have about 15 HP and everything else is either better or the same
ExtremeDude Jul 2, 2013 @ 2:12pm
Well some foods appear to be unchanged, I'm not sure if this was on purpose or not
Alphakal  [author] Jul 2, 2013 @ 2:06pm
Partially?
ExtremeDude Jul 2, 2013 @ 1:45pm
Well it appears to be (partially?) working now :D
ExtremeDude Jul 2, 2013 @ 10:05am
OK, I'll check it when I get home
Alphakal  [author] Jul 2, 2013 @ 9:03am
I got the update out, let me know if there are any issues
VinchenzoTheJackal & Shoon Jul 1, 2013 @ 7:14pm
I'm glad your working on this! You are very nice for taking time to do things like this. I'll load up and play Skyrim with this tomorrow. Hope you have a good night.
Alphakal  [author] Jul 1, 2013 @ 5:58pm
Besides, if I could update it (Which I can't right Now) the size increased to 9 KB
Alphakal  [author] Jul 1, 2013 @ 5:57pm
It's just property changes, only new item is Refined Moonsugar
ExtremeDude Jul 1, 2013 @ 5:57pm
I never expected it to be big either, but only 97 bytes?
Alphakal  [author] Jul 1, 2013 @ 5:53pm
If anyone can help with this, that'd be greatly appreciated. Runtime arrors for the Archiver, it doesn't allow me to upload any new updates
Alphakal  [author] Jul 1, 2013 @ 5:31pm
Its seriously just changing the values of the HP gained from food. I didn't expect it to be big
