@All other users; Yes, this mod requires Dragonborn to play. Please wait and try some of my up-coming mods which do not require DLC, or find other ones on the workshop that do not.
@stonekid4 and @Zaccherio: This island is focused more on mage players, im working on a different type of "open world" player residence for ranger/fighter type characters as we speak. This one will be non DLC based.
*sigh* Sadness..It looks good though. :)
As you are now the third-or-so person to make such a request I will definitely consider looking into it a bit more seriously.... It may not be completely possible however because the foundations of the island are from the DLC. So I can take it into account, exactly what is it about this mod that you like, because when I try and replicate these features with non-DLC content I can take it into account :)
Sure! Feel free to message me if you wish
Im relatively competent, I am doing a university degree in computing so have experience working with scripts :)
@Mattricus Oh man, Steams just being funny >:O How good are you with scripting?
Yes, that is correct.
@Kioshi Rin
The required DLC is stated at the bottom of the mod description. Oddly, when uploading the mod to steam there is no category option for "Dragonborn" (or "hearthfire"), so this seems to be a problem with Steam; I cant select categories that do not exist in the workshop. I have however, made it a stand out a bit more at the bottom.
Hi, thankyou for your comment! Yes, unfortunately the mod requires dragonborn because it uses Dark Elf style furniture, and the large roots are from the Telvanni mushroom in the DLC. The new mod I am currently working on however, will not require any DLC, so if you like my work, you may like this one when it is released! :)
Thankyou so much for your kind words! :) I agree with you, I have never downloaded a new house mod (only ones which improve the current houses). I made this one because I liked the idea of a beautiful and private island type thing. I am glad that you like it :)
Hi there, thanks for your comment! I have just booted the game again myself, and im afraid its working for me - so I have no idea whats going wrong for you. Have you downloaded the most up-to-date version of this mod? Have you got too many mods trying to run causing massive lags? Beyond this im afraid I cant really help - i dont think its a fault specifically with my mod. :/
I'll look into it more.
As usual, please do not hesitate to comment or contact me if you have any requests, ideas or have noticed something not happening as it should! :)
Hi! How very strange... I have no settings on the mod stopping people, I myself just managed to click the button and it worked and so (I assume) have the 20 other subscribers. What exactly is happening?
Steam has been very buggy lately, perhaps consider sending a ticket or trying again a bit later on? :)
Thankyou! I am glad you like it! Please enjoy :)
