That's extremely unlikely to be the fault of this mod, most likely another one in your load order is at fault. Ratdeath has nothing to it that would prompt people to make fire spell related comments; its only unique effect is done through a perk and even that has no fire spells or related keywords in it.

Hey there is a minor bug. The people of Skyrim seem to think I have a flame spell not a sword in my hands.

SkyBlueFox 16. jan. 2016 kl. 17:19
Oh god I went searching for the Sword of Moonlight and I came across Redwall instead

This actually looks really cool, I'm glad I stumbled onto it

I found it. Thanks. I had forest mod installed, so the trees probably blocked it.
For anyone else trying to find it, it's like 100 meters directly southeast.
DEvasto  [ophavsmand] 23. sep. 2015 kl. 10:28
It's southeast of Sleeping Tree Camp. There's no real structure like with some of the smaller ruins, it just has the pit and three of those puzzle pillars, plus some debris.
A1trn8tvFax 23. sep. 2015 kl. 9:18
Where is the nordic ruin you mentioned?
DEvasto  [ophavsmand] 15. aug. 2015 kl. 16:13
You'll want to open up the game launcher at the very least. If you launch the game more directly (like using the SKSE loader or just hitting the .exe) the mod won't get downloaded and activated. With the launcher open you can check the Data Files section to see if the mod's active.
goodfellow8 15. aug. 2015 kl. 13:33
I think the mod is inactive I used the TLC command and I was unable to find it I subscribed to the mod is there another step I should have taken
DEvasto  [ophavsmand] 15. aug. 2015 kl. 12:32
It should be under the steps that lead into the pit. If it's not there, either the terrain ate it, or the mod isn't active. I'd check to make sure the mod's active first before you use the TCL command to scoot around under the terrain.
goodfellow8 15. aug. 2015 kl. 12:21
I checked in the nordic ruins specified in the description but could not find the sword any tips
DEvasto  [ophavsmand] 2. juli 2015 kl. 14:36
It's the YY Mystic Knight animation replacer, which can be found on the Nexus.
ExtremeRadiance 1. juli 2015 kl. 21:53
what mod do you use for the way you hold your sword in the second picture?
Nigig 12. juni 2015 kl. 8:35
"FOR REDWALL"

@Prosaltyjohn
In the cartoon, he's also wielding Martin's shield. Two-handed weapons, you can't do that.
Jofoyo 2. apr. 2015 kl. 9:10
Currently reading the series. Brother read the books back in the 1990s and urged me to read them since. Im already on Redwall.

henrynothingh 3. aug. 2014 kl. 19:23
I've been wanting to read Redwall for a while, I think I soon will.
ACRONYM 20. juli 2014 kl. 21:02
Finnaly someone else eho has read the damn book! XD "I - am that is = Martin"
DEvasto  [ophavsmand] 18. juli 2014 kl. 7:26
I'll have to look into that. I know the Ebony Blade is highly allergic to weapon racks so it might be the same issue, which I believe is something to do with the way Skyrim handles collisions. Of course, alternately, you could pick up the Unofficial Skyrim Patch if you don't have it already, I know the USKP team has done a stupid amount of work making the racks more cooperative so it might work with that.
Kira Namida 18. juli 2014 kl. 6:12
Love the sword, although I don't seem to be able to add to any weapon racks or plaques and it would be awesome to have these hanging above the bed in Whiterun. =3
skel 29. maj 2014 kl. 7:47
madhawk8 the sword wasn't her father's bc (Martin the Warrior, Mossflower, and The Legend Of Luke) it was stated that it was passed down to Martin through his family. Then in Mossflower it gets buffed up by Boar the Fighter after Tsarmina breaks his old sword, except for the hilt,

Mandrake109 19. nov. 2013 kl. 12:31
madhawk8 Triss's fathers sword was broken in his last fight the sword she is using is Martins sword
Rabbit 12. nov. 2013 kl. 11:53
Yah. I like decent-rating items, not super-overpowered-cheaty-cheat stuff. The sword and the sheild both look cool. I love the books.
crownie 10. nov. 2013 kl. 23:02
Fair enough :D
madhawk8 9. nov. 2013 kl. 9:20
DEvcasto i am still using your mod and went back to check the books i found that on the cover of triss it is her fathers sword not martins
DEvasto  [ophavsmand] 8. nov. 2013 kl. 21:36
I don't see much need to do that, really. Ratdeath is fairly mundane after all, it isn't something along the lines of the Infinity Sword. Generally I prefer to maintain a sensible balance according to the weapon's capabilities, rather than make it unnecessarily powerful. Ratdeath was a very finely crafted blade, but probably couldn't compare to something wrought of ebony.
crownie 8. nov. 2013 kl. 21:02
Hey man! is sword is great! Could you make an OP verison of it?
Hyfrith 7. nov. 2013 kl. 6:29
Aw man! Good effort! The Redwall books are the main reason why I usually play as a Khajiit in Skyrim, anthropomorphic animals ftw!
DEvasto  [ophavsmand] 4. nov. 2013 kl. 16:13
Probably not, since with both this and the shield I went off the book's depiction of them, rather than their renditions in the animated series. I, personally, kind of find the "I am that is" inscription on the animated series Ratdeath a bit redundant and silly, but that's just me.

As for the armor, I don't have the modeling skill to make a suit from scratch, even if I was interested in making one.

Fun fact though, the inscription I made on Ratdeath here *does* actually translate to something.
Wolf King of Clan Stewart 4. nov. 2013 kl. 15:50
Great mod, reminds me of my childhood! Any chaces you might add "I AM THAT IS" down the length of the blade in the next version? Or perhaps a set of Martin the Warrior armor?
madhawk8 11. aug. 2013 kl. 15:33
dang it that sucks havent been able get nexxus mods to work
DEvasto  [ophavsmand] 11. aug. 2013 kl. 15:17
Not to my knowledge. You can always do a search to see if the thalmor armor thing is on the workshop. The Amidianborn retexture I'm pretty sure isn't on steam
madhawk8 11. aug. 2013 kl. 14:55
is it on steam
DEvasto  [ophavsmand] 1. aug. 2013 kl. 10:25
It's simply black elven light armor. I use this mod: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/6524/? along with the Amidianborn elven armor retexture: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/23125/?
madhawk8 1. aug. 2013 kl. 7:29
what armour is the character wearing
madhawk8 31. juli 2013 kl. 7:55
true but all in all its a very good mod and im glad that someone made a mode like this good job
DEvasto  [ophavsmand] 30. juli 2013 kl. 14:31
Either way the grip likely got replaced when the sword was reforged, exactly how doesn't really matter since it was never detailed, we're just theorizing about it.
madhawk8 30. juli 2013 kl. 13:40
not necessarily the leather could be held at the top and bottom by fine nails i have seen it befor
DEvasto  [ophavsmand] 30. juli 2013 kl. 10:56
Well, not necessarily. The grip is at least a single leather strip wrapped around the length of the handle, and if it wasn't secured it wouldn't be a very effective grip. I'd hazard a guess the leather is folded in under the crosspiece, which would tightly hold it in place and prevent the leather strapping from slipping. The pommel would serve to do the same for the bottom part of the grip, not to mention, if glue is even around in the Redwall universe, it'd be used as well to ensure the grip is complete secure. That said, secured on all these fronts, the sword would have to be taken apart in order to remove the grip completely.
