Essential!
I can never get the sounds levels right for this game. This was too loud.

Elegant great mod for immersion.
Ironporter Jun 9 @ 9:02pm
This is great. Much more realistic. Thank you. I was wondering though, could you make even just a tiny bit more loud? Thanks again though. It sure adds to my gaimng experience.

Oh god! I was waiting for this mod for so long! The vanila sound is ridiculous and breaks immersion. Thank you!
Nijoloblob Jan 18 @ 4:23am
Good mod, works fine for me :)

Suggestion: An option to increase (or decrease, I suppose) the volume of the waterfall? I think some should be a LOT louder :)
Code MD Jan 12 @ 2:03pm
Great mod, ads realism to waterfalls, some could be even louder. Thanks!

I can never go back to Markarth now. So loud! It's great, despite my recently aquired deafness!

I thought the vanilla waterfall sound was good ,but this is far better :-)

Really cool. This is something I didnt realize how much of a difference this makes until I installed, great mod! Just a tip though, if you know that you are going to have to hear dialogue near a waterfall you might wanna put subtitles on, bc it could be a bit hard to hear.
Torcwrench Aug 18, 2013 @ 4:28pm
Thank you for this. It improves the gaming experience significantly.
Drewburn Aug 16, 2013 @ 6:47am
Great job, If I'm near water, I know it. Now finally I have absolutely no reason to go outside!

Luccus12 Aug 11, 2013 @ 6:44am
Makes a huge difference, if you're walking near the waterfalls.

This makes Markarth a different city. Such a small thing with so much impact. Astounding.
bitl Jul 4, 2013 @ 1:10am
Last night I've been walking from Riverwood to Whiterun near the waterfalls - this is awesome!
Safari Ken  [author] Jul 3, 2013 @ 6:03pm
Update: Last night, for the first time since making this mod, I walked past a waterfall and thought it was too loud. My last update went a little crazy with a couple of them, so I just went and toned them back down. It's not exactly back to where it was (I didn't keep records of all the settings), but I think I've got everything where I want it now.
Safari Ken  [author] Jul 2, 2013 @ 10:10am
@bill, I've been trying to figure out why not every waterfall is affected, and in doing so I tweaked some of the volumes. Mostly louder. :-D
Soul--Reaver Jul 2, 2013 @ 8:46am
@Safari Ken. Thats what subtitles are for :D
bitl Jul 2, 2013 @ 4:00am
what's in the last update?
Safari Ken  [author] Jun 29, 2013 @ 2:37pm
I'm sure voices can be turned up the same as waterfalls or any other sounds, but I wouldn't know how to do it >only< when there's a waterfall around. I fully acknowledge that this mod can make things so loud that you lose pieces of NPC's conversation (or the movie you're watching on the second monitor), but I simply decided that it's worth it. In fact, it was not being able to hear my movie that told me I had the correct volume. :-)
roadkil29 Jun 29, 2013 @ 11:05am
would it be possible to do this for voices as well?
Annamartina Jun 27, 2013 @ 3:36am
I love this :) it's great :)
Archemett Jun 22, 2013 @ 9:29am
I didnt think a tiny soundmod like this would make much difference, but it really increases the immersion. Thanks for the mod.
Artur Jun 21, 2013 @ 12:35pm
Btw no nexus version? I'd prefer to track it on nexus...
Please and thank you.
88decoy88 Jun 20, 2013 @ 11:07am
this adds so much more depth to the game I love it
Saku Jun 19, 2013 @ 7:00am
Thanks for this, i have been in waterfalls many times, and this is the first time in skyrim i really can feel them, thanks a lot :)
Safari Ken  [author] Jun 18, 2013 @ 3:36pm
Agreed, and I'll look into that for sure (but no promises).
[TG] Meridian Jun 18, 2013 @ 3:01pm
A stealth bonus would be a great feature-add!
Safari Ken  [author] Jun 18, 2013 @ 10:11am
No, as far as I know the volume doesn't affect anything in-game, it's just meant to increase immersion for the player. Although, that's a pretty cool idea, to have it affect stealth. I'm not sure how to do that though.
Mr. Grey* Jun 17, 2013 @ 11:03pm
Does this also mean enemies have more trouble hearing you when standing near a waterfall too? Anyways, nice.
Ninja Monkey Jun 16, 2013 @ 8:26am
Not bad, adds quite a bit of ,and much needed, realisum to the watterfalls. never noticed how quiet they were untill now :D
[TG] Meridian Jun 15, 2013 @ 8:48pm
I greatly appreciate the thought behind this mod. Definitely installing when I finally pick up the game.

Gosh, this mod sure does work! I went into Eldergleam Sanctuary for the Gildergreen quest and could hardly hear myself think! But, yes, it is a good mod. Reminds me Niagra Falls!

BOSS is an automated load order sorter. At one point I had a ton of mods with no problems whatsoever, but then I had to reinstall Windows, and my load order was reset to alphabetical, and I had nothing but problems after that. BOSS fixed me up in just a couple of seconds, and I haven't had a single crash since, no matter what I throw at it: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/6 <--I'm pretty sure that's the link, but I can't get any Nexus pages to come up right now, so if that's not it, just know that it's on Nexus...
