PeeTee Oct 8, 2014 @ 5:39pm

psicon  [author] Aug 11, 2014 @ 9:46am
Technically Erik, you don't need to. Just look for the key. It's right there close. Just check around the front door.
erik99 Aug 11, 2014 @ 9:12am
cant buy the house*_*

MajesticPanda261 Jul 4, 2013 @ 3:54am
this mod doesnt work very well with Millwater Retreat :P
Mr.Nutrun Jul 1, 2013 @ 1:07am
hey everytime i fast travel to the fishers folly my game just closes randomly or crahes if thats a better word
jezzaman101 Jun 23, 2013 @ 6:27am
This mod is grievously flawed! When i sit down to use the fishing pole, i can't reach my ale!! What kind of fisherman are you?!!!

Fantastic house mod. Thanks :)
Æɴɪᴍᴀ Jun 3, 2013 @ 11:55am
You may want to talk to S7o on my friends list about the turning on and off candles and a fireplace. He does that really well in his shack mod. Any plans to add an outside cooking pot to this fisher's folly? It makes a lot of sense imo.
Ren May 29, 2013 @ 10:38pm
This is everything I've ever wanted in a player home and more. Thank you for creating this.
psicon  [author] May 26, 2013 @ 10:30am
No, no release dates, as of yet. The Rorikstead house is very nearly done but I just started on the shack. Maybe when I have some more stuff done with it by next weekend, I'll take some screenshots so you guys can see it. There are some things I'm trying to figure out with it. I want to have candles and the fireplace able to be toggled on and off and the inside of the shack has a small loft area. I'm trying to piece out a bed that will look nice and fit up there.
Æɴɪᴍᴀ May 25, 2013 @ 9:35pm
Cool do you have any release dates? The marsh one sounds really cool. I don't believe there are many homes located in that area.
psicon  [author] May 25, 2013 @ 10:36am
I'm usually always tinkering around with something. I've got a small shack in the marsh that I've working on, a farmhouse in Rorikstead, and I discovered this yesterday! I just have to find the perfect spot for it....
Æɴɪᴍᴀ May 25, 2013 @ 9:56am
I see you're spending lots of time in creation kit lately. Planning something big?
[WOAL] Freakyideas May 24, 2013 @ 5:47am
Just one word:
Toft May 24, 2013 @ 2:05am
@psicom You do realise that if it had not been worth it, i wouldnt have been grinning so much in self-patty-on-the-back mode?

@ItchyBum (duw! still feel guilty bowt 'na) Good idea - is there a Grill-type-of-thing (BBQ) that you could toss a mudcrab/killifish onto? And if not, why not?
Æɴɪᴍᴀ May 23, 2013 @ 7:37pm
Maybe, like one over a firepit? So it looks different from the one outside? I'm a wilderness geek so I just prefer to cook outside and feel naturey.
Æɴɪᴍᴀ May 23, 2013 @ 2:27pm
Could you add a cooking pot outside the house? Would just add to the outer look and be good for cooking which I do a lot of.
psicon  [author] May 23, 2013 @ 2:07pm

You poor man. I hate that you had to go to such great lengths to get it working, but at least it all worked out in the end. *lol*
Toft May 23, 2013 @ 1:13pm
Rwyt ti'n athrylith!

I started a new game -Toggled God Mode to get rid of those pesky death-moments. sprinted for the exit and jumped river at the stones, de-TGMed - and...

This bijou housette now has my Marque of Supreme Approval™ (FWIW). Officially the best starter home in the history of the mega-Tamriel-o-verse.

(PS: Apologies to iNtchybum....)
Toft May 23, 2013 @ 12:45pm
I thought so - but stange doubts emerge. I will now start an extra-speshwl NYOO character, and see if the throw-abouty bits are stilll there...

@JDcrafter: I thought you were replying to me and telling me to Havok Off; Then i read the rest of your post... ;}
@IntchyBum (love the monicker). Agreed wholeheartedly.
psicon  [author] May 23, 2013 @ 10:23am
Hey, Toft, are you checking them with a clean save every time? Even then, I know on another site one guy did a clean save but still had trouble after updating. Things did eventually settle down for him though.

Thanks, ItchyBum!
Æɴɪᴍᴀ May 23, 2013 @ 6:55am
This mod deserves more upvotes! It's one of my main homes nowadays and I have over 100 house mods:/
ScholarlyMadman May 22, 2013 @ 11:43am
Or set them as Havok off and place them in the right place and not use havok to make them fall into the right place (In the creation kit)
Toft May 21, 2013 @ 9:18pm
'sok - i will just a) be careful, and, failing that b) cheat and use <console>recycleactor to put them back tidily...
psicon  [author] May 21, 2013 @ 6:42pm
Or maybe I'm just getting old and can't remember all the trouble I had. *lol*
psicon  [author] May 21, 2013 @ 6:42pm
Yes, we do. I yearn for the days of modding New Vegas and Oblivion. I don't remember having trouble like this at all with them.
ScholarlyMadman May 21, 2013 @ 6:00pm
Ha oh lol we modders all hate bugs.
psicon  [author] May 21, 2013 @ 1:32pm
I give up. *lol* I got nothin' left.
Toft May 20, 2013 @ 8:36pm
Hate to be the harbinger of bad tidings (again) but:

Baskets outside the front door go wheeee!; and @Left of Fireplace :- 2 loaves of bread (move as one), 2 Bottles of Whine (ma1); what looks like cheddar & stilton (ma1) do the same.
Toft May 20, 2013 @ 3:34pm
What? Off-topic?
ScholarlyMadman May 20, 2013 @ 3:17pm
Thats good I'm glad that it will be staying here.
Toft May 20, 2013 @ 1:39pm
And i think we are getting far off topic.
Toft May 20, 2013 @ 1:37pm
Well, before you watch it - beit noted that Barrowman plays (very well) an absolute prick. The actual hero is Eve Myles (Gwen Cooper) from Ystradgynlais - she also played that irritatingly wimpy elf woman in Dragon Age II. And if you Do watch it and you Dont Cry when (name deleted) dies i will disown you.
psicon  [author] May 20, 2013 @ 1:20pm
Well, Gaiman alone could make it worth a look see. I'll have to check it out.

I've never watched Torchwood but an ex keeps telling me I should watch it. I've seen John Barrowman a couple of times on Nevermind the Buzzcocks and he was hysterical.
Toft May 20, 2013 @ 1:14pm
> Dr Who

I mean shovel-face - the new one. Not bad - really decent writers (inc. Neil Gaiman) the Weeping Angels episides are must-see. Quote is fron River Song (a character therein). Have you seen Torchwood, though - set in almost-Wales (Caedydd)?
psicon  [author] May 20, 2013 @ 12:39pm
Omg, I think I finally know what's wrong with those wine bottles. I'm such a dolt. I'll have that fixed soonish. I'm doing with while I'm watching Mad Men.

I am actually female. I remember the word merkin from watching the L Word. It never failed to make me chuckle. I'm american but just happen to be married to a man from the West Midlands. One of the people on my friends list is my sister in law.

Old Dr Who or new Dr? Cause I never watched anthing past Peter Davison.
Toft May 20, 2013 @ 12:27pm
Scrub that 3rd paragraph - both of your other Friends™ seem to be from Brummagen, so I am no longer mystified about your grasp of the language.

I'll just be the TestOtter in Aberteifi.
Toft May 20, 2013 @ 12:15pm
Errrm: Vegetable bin + Wine cooler are still tossable.

Everything else seems (on rough inspection) to be ok. Including the Fishing pole! Well done you lovely boy***.

Actually i am assuming boy (or ATL male), and female-pubic-wig* I could be wrong - i am on so many things. You probably are female and hail from Snolidge Bottom** - how would i know?

* Female pubic wig := Merkin (say in out loud with at Louisiana? accent)
** Real Place
*** Dr Who reference
psicon  [author] May 20, 2013 @ 11:40am
Alright, give it another try. I changed some things, just entered it with a clean save and everything was acting normally for me. *crossing fingers*
psicon  [author] May 20, 2013 @ 11:21am
*weeps bitterly*
Toft May 20, 2013 @ 10:46am
Not to be a pain, but:

Just refreshed in Steam (main character-not visted there before) - and:

No key in cunningly conclealed place.

Added key by console, and the breadbin etc are throwable, and after that the bread, middle wine, cheese containers look like theyre on a paternoster (i.e. appear above their locations and drop down; rinse and repeat)
Toft May 20, 2013 @ 10:28am
I have a feeling i might have been Channelliing Sheogorath with that one...
psicon  [author] May 20, 2013 @ 10:08am
And you are quite welcome!

I can almost imagine the comments I would get over that. Air of mystery, indeed. *lol*
Toft May 20, 2013 @ 9:48am
Actually "mtHutNear1st3Stones.esp" (aut sim.) would be better than the finally named thing...

Lends an air of mystery.Just think of the Fun people would have trying to find it.
Toft May 20, 2013 @ 9:43am
Diolch yn fawr iawn i ti! (As we say west of the border)
psicon  [author] May 20, 2013 @ 9:20am
Okay, updated. Hopefully those meshes you mentioned will be working correctly now. Plus, the fishing pole! I can't check at the moment because I have the Millwater Retreat mod subscribed in that spot. Unfortunately, the meat hook mesh is something beyond my ability to fix. I think that may have to do with the collision itself. The mesh was made by Blary and I've tried to contact him before but no luck.

You are right. I should try an make the esps a bit more easy to identify. I make all the meshes and stuff in the mod have the same prefix so I can find them easily so I always name the esp the same. I didn't come up with Fisher's Folly until later and then it just never occured to me to go ahead and change the esp to reflect that. :D

and *lol* @ the dragon ate your homework.
Toft May 20, 2013 @ 8:37am
And on a lighter note: My last reply was delayed by half-an-hour because (i kid you not) A Dragon Ate My Homework. Literally - in the correct sense of the word. I reloaded to test the containers and yes, 25 minutes on my testing time was eaten up by a dragon attack on the pathetically weak almost-starting level character that i created in order to test this mod.
Toft May 20, 2013 @ 8:24am
> (...) because that'll always be one of mine

I was just thinking mtFishersFolly.esp or somesuch.

And i'll subscribe back again then ;-|
Toft May 20, 2013 @ 8:18am
OK four last things...

ch) The meat-hook storage is reely reely teeny-tiny and hard to find (oh and the baskets by the front door going flying as well.)

I found it on Nexus BTW - transferred over...
