We are certainly working on it. I have started to work on a teaser trailer, but it will probably take a while to finish. I am not sure when the release date for FE would be, but the progress is starting to get better.

I think the hand motions are great. In most first-person games you just "magically" pick things up and push buttons. It's nice to see the attention to detail.

This is a solid project. They're doing a lot of things right. They have most of the core game already working and implemented

the whole second vid its just talking about how you can buy/sell things and if you try to steal stuff you will be attacked...

i didnt watch the first vid because it tried to buffer on me . is this just a capitolism simulator with a scifi theme ? like this is what it would be like to be a nobody in startrek "time to go buy my amino acid rations with credits hope i dont get robed"

Cool. Really cool. The climbing/acrobatics bring back the feeling that Mirror's Edge gave - a brilliant if technically muddled game - that stands today a legend for that very feeling. Its a really great addition to, what looks to be, a great design and pretty awesome execution of that design thus far. I'm an experienced developer and I get restless when the workload is too light. I'd love to help you finish this thing. If I can be of service, gimme a shout? ;)

KittyWolf, yeah, we will have a final art pass at some point, and even beyond that I often polish them time to time. I have been meaning to improve the look of the guards for a while now.

XdbX, that is because of the eye angles are partly calculated from the player animation, and in the animation the body bends downwards a little bit. It's not as big of a problem outside the spacepod. I clamp the eye angles so that the player can't end up looking 180 degrees off from body angles.

So i noticed that when you press a button the camra bends downwards. It breaks up the action and is annoying. I suggest you don't do that.

The concept artwork for this is amazing. I could do with a little more in the character models, they seem a bit "choppy", another layer of "paint" could really polish them up to high budget grade, you guys without a doubt have the skill to do this.

Switching engines at this point would not be realistic since I am the only programmer, modeller, animator, and level designer at the moment. If I switched engines it would take me a while to learn how things are done in that engine, as well as to port all our current code. I would even have to code the AIs from the ground up myself which would be a lot of extra work. Having to do that would steal all my attention from the gameplay design and making new puzzles and levels.

Note that this is currently a mod project. It's not some MMORPG where you need to pay for hats and stuff later on. Making this into a commercial project would take nothing sort of a miracle. We have very small team, and no funding.

I'd switch to UDK or CryEngine, the licenses they have are quite flexible for indie devs. Plus it's free to use and download. Source is very outdated and limited in scope by comparison

I concur on the comment about free to play. I actually rarely even look at a game if its free to play. The market seems saturated and it doesn't seem like the games hold much of their momentum after the initial launch. Plus it's a single player game so you won't have the whole "I want to look different" thing going on.

I originally thought about going to the Game section, but we are still pretty early in development. We don't have a lot of screenshots to show off yet. We will go to there eventually, but for now we are only in the concept section. And getting a licence is no easy task. We have pretty much zero money.

I'd STRONGLY advise getting a licence. If you take this to the full Greenlight section you'll look much more professional, and that counts for a lot. Also, if you can manage an extra language, Spanish would give you a massive help in the latin american market.

We have no funding or lisence, so it's not really an option at the moment. Not that I am against the idea of making into a commercial project.
