No Killmoves, No Killcams, No Killbites

Geisterfahrer: Yes, it's possible to only disable ranged and magic killcams; I think that's exactly what does. If that doesn't work, let me know and I'll make a variant of this mod to do the job.
Geisterfahrer Aug 10 @ 5:09am
is there a possibility to get only ranged and spell killcams disabled?
froobler Jun 25 @ 9:05am
Ok cool, though i like the killmoves, since im playing on apprentice (Which is unnaturally difficult for some reason on my character) i always am afraid since i lose quite a bit of health from hits that im going to get killed by some BS NPC killmove that i could easily dodge.
David Sid  [author] Jun 25 @ 12:44am
a duck named bill: This mod does disable killmoves and killcams both for the player and for the enemies. The only exceptions are one-hit dagger kills while sneaking and the werewolf's unique killmoves.
froobler Jun 24 @ 8:19pm
This doesnt disable player killmoves right?
Floppywere Apr 18 @ 12:55pm
but the thing is you will die evan if you are not kill moved its like when you kill someone in crouch it is so strong it just makes a kill move for it so all your doing is making fights more boring not more intense because the damage is the same.
win7x64 Mar 7 @ 5:34pm
thank you.
David Sid  [author] Mar 7 @ 4:20am
win7x64: The "spinning death animations" aren't affected. (They're not frustrating, just silly-looking.)
win7x64 Mar 7 @ 12:49am
could you tell me if this covers 'no spinning death animations'? or do i still need that mod as well
scottyniff Feb 26 @ 5:42pm
i still got a kill cam when i was doing the graybeards story line :(
xenousarts Jan 19 @ 4:26am
No more death cops! Thank you.
ToolPackinMama Jan 6 @ 9:32pm
Thank you for this. Four times in one hour my new mage waited a loooooooog time for a kill-shot that MISSED! I could have killed the same creature four times it took for that slow killshot to miss! "No More!" I cried!
~Z~ Scatman John Jan 6 @ 10:39am
I got this because I just got killed by a random dragon from 95% health during what was otherwise a good fight.
David Sid  [author] Jan 5 @ 1:26pm
I agree completely, psychomorph, and I'm glad to hear the mod has improved your game.
psychomorph Jan 5 @ 8:51am
these killcams are just annoying and cause bugs. they interrupt the game and prevent you from preparing for the next opponent. and people seriously argue against it because "the games dices made it so"?! really? you want a game to randomly decide what happens instead of your own abilities? for me personally, this is absolutely essential. thanks to the author!
CrazedFoamin'Jackal Jan 4 @ 4:04pm
Glad the archery kill cam would be gone. Something between me feet and the target, everything above it thin air, including everything above the hips. Nothing between me, my arrow, my bow, and the target. Arrows then strike the object between my feet and the target, landing right at my feet. Glitch in skyrim? Problem with mods I've added? Maybe. Regardless, this will remove it as it only happens from killcams. But the pleasure of slitting Forsworn and bandit throats? Still on the fence about this due to that.
David Sid  [author] Jan 3 @ 4:01pm
Older comments on this mod suggest sneak attack killmoves are still functional, but I can't say I've thoroughly tested that particular aspect myself. I haven't worked on Skyrim mods in quite a while.
Muffy|Rune!h Jan 3 @ 1:47pm
Does the remove your sneak killcams aswell? when you backstab people... For the only killcam i find irritating are those that interrupt the game, aka. those when you are in combat, and not those when you backstab somebody.

Well, if a dragon killmoves you, you had bad luck, and the games dices made it so, save before a dragon, or get better armor, instead of using such cheat mods.
Exige Dec 24, 2013 @ 11:01pm
Finally! Relief from those irritating cutscenes that interrupt the game. Thank you for writing this. 5/5
Delta Spark Dec 22, 2013 @ 10:56pm
Is there a mod that disables enemy and NPC kill moves? That would be fine, since they pretty much break the rules anyway (perform kill moves when there are other enemies besides you, i.e. a follower), because I like the kill cams for archery. But yeah, I just got cheated by a dragon. Blocked two bites, got me down to slightly more than half-health, annnd killbite. Immidiately quit to download this mod. Thank you very much.
Joel Is Love, Joel Is Life. Dec 15, 2013 @ 9:56am
just use the dance of death you can get rid of them and modify them
Thundercrunch Dec 12, 2013 @ 6:17pm
Just a note: it apparently doesn't stop werewolf kill moves
Richard Nov 12, 2013 @ 12:50pm
I for one dislikes quite a bit... say you play an archer - *killmove goes off... and misses* you keep standing there for another 10 sec, well enough time for the alerted enemy to get there and kill you...
Ep1cXShAd0wHaWk Nov 12, 2013 @ 3:58am
you fucking suck if you think people will like this mod
every1 loves kill moves
Pillparty Oct 29, 2013 @ 1:09pm
Without this mod I wouldn't've had a chance to play my preferred difficulty without getting insta-whacked in all melee fights.

The only thing remaining that makes fights so unbalanced is the way overpowered mages and Hagravens.

I guess I'll just get some anti-magic enchantments to my shit.

Raven Oct 27, 2013 @ 2:52pm
By the way, could you add a version with no stealth kills at some point?
Raven Oct 23, 2013 @ 11:36pm
Definitely makes combat more efficient, I'll give it that. Also, after a while of playing the cinimatics kinda lost their luster when the computer was having all the fun dealing the final blows.
David Sid  [author] Sep 12, 2013 @ 5:02pm
torok551, it stops all killmoves, including your own. The only possible exceptions are your own sneak attack killmoves.
torok551 Sep 12, 2013 @ 5:25am
Does this stop my own kill moves?
FastCo. Regorek Sep 8, 2013 @ 12:14pm
I've been looking for this exact thing since Skyrim got released, thanks!
Trinto2 Sep 1, 2013 @ 11:06pm
Alright thanks
David Sid  [author] Sep 1, 2013 @ 7:34pm
Trinto2, to be honest, I'm not certain. Older comments on this mod suggest sneak attack killmoves are still functional, but I can't say I've thorough tested it myself. I haven't been working on Skyrim mods for the past few months (focused on Dark Souls now), but feel free to report on your own experience if it differs from the above.
Trinto2 Aug 31, 2013 @ 8:34pm
Does this stop backstabs and slitting throats.
Wandus_Prime Aug 23, 2013 @ 5:17pm
cant even tell you how many stupid dragons killed me when i could have easily blocked that bite...........................
Bear Cavalry Aug 14, 2013 @ 8:22am
Works really well w/ goblin pc mod because the goblin usually glitches during killcam
Lord Twaddleford Jul 15, 2013 @ 3:35am
I remember playing through a Silver Hand infested dungeon not long after installing this mod, those guys hit really hard enough as it is, but I whilst I was hacking away at my foes I could count several potential instances for a kill cam on me. Needless to say this mod was instrumental in preventing me from going mental (ha!). Haven't looked back since. ;-)
Freeasabird Jul 10, 2013 @ 11:56pm

Nope, i don't use bows i use eather sword/sheild or magic or Magic/shield.
MAH BOI Jun 18, 2013 @ 1:34pm
So what you're saying freeasabird420 is that you're a little pussy with a bow? K.
Godking1255 Jun 11, 2013 @ 8:27pm
I always love looking at the most recent comments before I subcribe to mods. :D
Skipi Jun 6, 2013 @ 7:56am
Enemies can be overpowered enough against mage characters without killing you the moment you hit 50% health, so thanks for this.
David Sid  [author] May 31, 2013 @ 10:39am
Your comment made my day, freeasabird420. I needed a good laugh.
Freeasabird May 31, 2013 @ 9:09am
"I Could of Blocked that bite" Uhm HAHAHA No. you couldn't, have you ever killed a dragon and it had armor inside it? so ... yeah it can eat a shield along with half of you if not all. ITS A FUCKING DRAGON! Man! Of course it'll bite your ass in half, your standing Right infront of its face. dat shit don't happen to me cuz i try to stay on its side if at all possible. or just shoot it with arrows it cant bite you if your standing WAY OVER THERE!! dude your just not good at killing dragons if THAT is your major problem and you have to make a mod in order to get rid of it :/ FAIL
Hollow Ichigo May 14, 2013 @ 3:43pm
Hm. I actully -do- have sneak attack killmoves -and- killcams with this mod, just as with werewolf ones, while other types never ever occured to me since the installation. However, sneak attack killmoves and killcams doesn't bring unfairness, unlike other melee kinds of them.
If ranged attacking killcams were working as well here, it'd be perfect, but such is impossible as far as I'm enlightened.
David Sid  [author] May 13, 2013 @ 11:16am
Dakkon of the White Fox, you can use the console command "set KillMove to 1" to re-enable melee killmoves (but not killcams or killbites) for the current character. This allows your enemies to use killmoves as well, though; there's no getting around that.
Dakkon of the White Fox May 12, 2013 @ 1:49pm
Please add something that enables OUR killmoves for backstabs and throat cutting and the such. I mainly want this mod so that I can get rid of the impossibly stupid magic and ranged killcams but I like being able to do the sneak attack kills as an assassin.
Eredin May 3, 2013 @ 5:04pm
Thanks, the kill cam is somewhat nice if you play melee. Well what I was most annoyed is, mostly the target does not die and because of wasted time he gets up and start running; that can mean like 2 mins chase...
Wolfchild May 2, 2013 @ 2:59pm
Maybe it's someting to do with Skyrim's "radiant" AI. The shopkeepers seem to have no sense of punctuality and I even had a bug where Orgnar from the Sleeping Giant inn would literaly just follow me everywhere to tell me he had rooms and food, drinks to, he cooks and ain't much else to tell (which lasted for about three or four months IRL). Not the most well designed game when you think about it but I guess it's bearable so long as it's not breaking quests.
